    Welcome new people xx

My kitchen looks a damn site better now than it did this morning; although there is still much room for improvement.

Thank you flyladies for continual support and inspiration xx

    Strange old day.

Sorted out some toys to sell/ give to school
Finished off some forms and took them to the post office.
    Made 2 bathroom appointments
    Visited Mr W DIY store
Bought new bin to replace conservatory one.

Went to collect DS2 from school bus that never arrived and was approached by a nasty looking dog without an owner. No owner showed up. Had to ring dog owning friend to come to help. Miss Muddy Paws kept hissing at it. Luckily dog was friendly. Dog kept running in the road so we put it in my back garden and called the dog warden after my friend shouted in the woods in case someone was looking for dog. DS2 was brought home 1.5 hours late by his head teacher as he had been kicking. He is moving up to a new class after half term. DH was cross about the dog business.

Spoke to a plumber about a bathroom quote.
Noticed a quote which took over an hour to get on Sunday had missed off the toilet & sink and charged to collect tiles from their own store. The fitting charges were enormous.

Hope FIL is ok Dusty x

DS1 is going to his prom. He has found a table to sit on but is travelling alone. He is happy for me to drive him but I wish I could think of some special transport for him. I bought him a dress shirt today. Baby has grown up.

Forgive me Flyladies, for I have sinned, it has been one week since my last confession ;)

Natty and Dusty thank you doing these list each week for us, I will have a good nose at Monday and Tuesday lists in a mo, I have just spent time catching up with everyone's news.

Pigpen is your OH family and my EX MiL related? I had EX MiL here last week, I made sure I had all the things here that she eats (eggs, bananas, expensive white bread not the whoopsied freezable stuff we eat, expensive ready made salad pots) plus I cooked all the main meals with all the best whoopsied stuff from the freezer.....I had six nice sized portions of stewing steak in the slow pot while I was desperately trying to finish the DIY, she had served up food for everyone including the EX who had turned up to help out, and I was left with no meat, half a tablespoon of stewed veg, one dumpling and a bowl full of gravy. Her excuse? She thought I wasn't hungry ....after painting from 4am every morning like a woman possessed while everyone else was asleep, and stopping every 5 seconds to check why DD4 was screaming the house down while EX MiL was supposed to be looking after her and reverting to Daisy mode every 2 hours to comfort the poor little mite, and finally stopping to find my dinner scoffed at 10.30 at night, EX MiL was very lucky I didn't turn into the Wolf from Red Riding Hood and swallow her whole where she stood! But did she actually ask me before giving my dinner away? Of course not.

According to the layers of waste in the compost bin (much like assessing rock strata for fossilisation), told me the EX had also been made cheese sandwich AND cheese and ham rolls by Mummy, but the rolls that I was hoping to have had at SOME point had then been put onto of the compost as they were too hard for the EX to have another meal from :mad::mad::mad: a quick rinse under the tap, wrapped in tin foil and put in the oven for 15 minutes would have made them edible for me.

But I am pleased to say, that the DR had its final touches of paint applied in the very small hours of Monday morning, the study-come guest room-lair of visiting outlaws had wallpapering almost finished 30 mins before BandQ shut on Sunday when wallpaper paste ran out, retrieved paste just before closing, last 2 strips hung, and best flying and touching up paintwork that room has ever seen!

Carpet Fitter arrived today with more chips on his shoulder than Mr H Ramsden Esq. which sent me into full blown meltdown. I tried ringing the EX, with 15 missed calls to try to get him to ring the shop and get carpet fitter to leave it was that bad even though DD3 was at home not well.

Carpet Fitter came back in all sheepish and apologised and said he would give me a good quality job without moaning or trying to make excuses.

I couldn't make eye contact with the chap after earlier, and I said he would have to excuse me, but today was kitchen cleaning day and I needed to get on.

Oh dear, list will have to wait as DS is awake with night terrors.
The cold never bothered me anyway

    Morning

Up bright and early this morning - no idea why.

Busy day lined up for me. School run, take van to garage for new exhaust (£200+ Was hoping to clear the Next Account this month, but that's highly unlikely now. Working 10-1 and then later 5-10. Will try to fit in what I can. Have asked OH to bath the dog today so that we can frontline him tomorrow.

    Next - £1500 1/1/16 DFD about 10 years time. UPDATED Feb 2016 £1371.16; DFD July 2016 :j
THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO DEBT BY THE END OF 2016
