Well if I have a lodger I may resort to the 'Brown' rules of hospitality and not feed you :p .. We are very much self service in here.. You don't want to be a whale-like size 16 after all do you?

I'm self feeding so that's not a problem :D and no I wouldn't want to be whale-like after all it takes great work/medication to be as normal as I am :rotfl::cool:;):p but on the plus side I do clean and I love kiddies so I could babysit or something *wonders where the gaffa tape and the rope is:p*

    Hi

I would like to join please! Have never joined this thread before but as I completed my mammoth cleaning session in Sunday I was thinking I should do a bit every day!!

Yesterday....I didn't follow the plan as I cleaned the kitchen Sunday but I did hoover through downstairs and "furminate" (comb) the dog! It's molting season so they will be on my list every day for a while!!

As I work full time and commute I will be trying to squeeze in at least the 15 min jobs every evening!! Wish me luck!

I really wish I had more of a background in the kitchen as I feel quite thick.
Aj, snaffle as many "tried and tested" recipes as you can when they get posted on the Fred!;) And don't worry - I'm more or less completely self-taught as far as cooking goes, and if I can do it, anyone can!:D

Wondering what the local NHS trust are playing at - I had an appointment at the horse-piddle a while back, with the pain clinic, which was a total and utter waste of time; I subsequently had a letter saying they were going to offer me an appointment with the psychologist (!!!!!!?? I'm in pain, not bonkers!) BUT I had to phone them within three weeks, or they would assume I didn't want to see the psychologist.

Mr LW and I discussed it, and he agreed with me that it would be a waste of time, a waste of my precious spoons, and a waste of a day's annual leave for him, so we carefully didn't phone.

So.... yesterday I got a letter in the post summoning me to an appointment on 5th June. I can't go; Mr LW is working, so won't be able to take me, and I shall have Bailey and Cassie staying then, and I am not leaving them alone for several hours.

Luckily, they gave an email address, so I've emailed and told them to cancel the appointment. This at least is an improvement, usually there's only a phone number so Mr LW has to take care of it for me.

But honestly, what a stupid waste of time sending me the original letter. *insert puzzled smiley*

Flying..... isn't happening this week. Two hours out of every day are taken up with Dave's walkies, plus a further age persuading him to eat (he's not food oriented at all), and I'm just too exhausted to do more than S&S.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Well the school appear to have successfully lost my daughter... Then they wonder why I am moving her!!! They were told last Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and this morning she has an appointment today and they ' think ' she has gone on a trip but they can't be certain they just know they can't find her!!!! I'm meant to be ok with that apparently

    Washing on line
    Dot snoozing
    Lunch fed to squeak
    Cuppa made

Sum total of my flying !!

surely thats what registers are for, so they know which children are on site, and IF they go on a trip they are marked out with the member of staff so they have a head count register. i also thought parents were informed if their children were being taken off site at any point. hope shes found soon preferably before the time of the appt you need her for.

have been work, had food with DH, hes gone back to his work so im working my way through the junk on the table, need to iron black trous and Tshirt then for DS2 performance tonight (luckily DS1 had a plain black T that has been borrowed for a couple of days.

cant believe the devastation that happening in oklahoma, my prayers are with the people there.

You'd think that is what registers are for.. but they had taken it with them.. and they tried ringing one of the teachers mobiles but she didn't pick up so we don't actually know 100% if she was there or not.

We apparently sign a letter at the beginning of the year so they don't have to chase loads of permission slips and we are just informed when there is to be a trip.. but I rarely get letters .. I think there is a huge stack of letters in the cloak room!

Her appointment was at 1pm.. I pick up and we go straight there.. the next available one is 2nd July so we are in that slot but I asked if the consultant could be informed and said if he wants to see her sooner I will be there.. 2nd July is day 2 at the new school for her  ... that's not going to look good is it?!

Narco sorry busy week with a bit of paid stuff everyday, 2 gov meeting, 2 cricket games and seeing friend who is having an exceptionally tough time right now. I'd love to get together after the exam series though. 2 of my beans have appeared today. Hop to get a bit done in the garden later afternoon.

No problem, I'm pretty busy and we're going down to my Mum's Fri - Mon so I wouldn't have had time to plant any purchases. Glad your beans are coming through; mine have been acclimatising outside (apart from the ones I sowed direct!) and I'm hoping to plant them out later today. Have absolutely heaps of paperwork as I keep getting distracted by "stuff".

    So far today:
gym classes x 3 so exhausted!
checked work email as changes afoot
discussed/finalised better deal on internet etc which I've been planning to do for a while
    done a few surveys
picked up a few whoopsies and needs from C0-0p

Can't remember what else; few bits & bobs really.
HHC anyone? I must rush around kitchen and try to declutter desk so I can work on it later.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
