I take it you just put the sugar in the topping then. I put some in with the apples when I broke them down in a pan but maybe I don't need to do that either?!? I really wish I had more of a background in the kitchen as I feel quite thick.

I just cut up an apple or 2 (peeled & cored), put it in a pyrex (or similar) dish & bung crumble topping on top (which does have sugar in). If I am really lazy (& have some in the cupboard) I use a packet :o

Evening! We are home. Unpacked and towels washed. Really nice weekend. Kiddies had a ball. Hoping they'll sleep well.

I've got things ready for morning, just need shower and hair wash. That'll do for tonight. Two busy days at paid stuff ahead so might be quiet flying until Thursday.

Hugs all. Ang pigpen, size 16? That would be half the adult female population then... Duh...

exactly... apparently a size 8 is 'normal' .. erm.. not on this planet and not for those who do not like to starve themselves. I'd have to weigh about 5 stone to be anything near a size 8.. I 'just' scraped onto a size 10 at 7.5 stone.. and I have weighed between 10.5 and almost 14 stone and still been a size 16 with very little difference in how tight the clothes were, bone structure plays a big part!

Apparently I am a whale.. then he says he doesn't say things to deliberately hurt someones feelings.. obviously I am not worthy of the same consideration.. telling someone who is 6 months pregnant she is a whale is signing your own death warrant surely?! (yes I can say it about myself.. and he is supposed to tell me I look lovely, even though I know it's a lie lol)

Indeed he should! Your so-called whaliness is keeping his baby warm and fed. Give him a clout and ask him how gorgeous he rates himself when there are men such as <insert favoured idol here> inhabiting the planet??? I usually find those insulting of others' appearances are deflecting the attention away from their own insecurities :(

Need to dry my hair but just getting warm under covers...

    Hi all

Fly wise today I've done a quick s/s around various rooms and that's been about it.
OH has had his op and all has went well. Just back from the hospital they were talking about letting him home when he only got out of theatre at 6pm! However they are keeping him in, I'm glad he's full of morphine and still complaining of pain and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it if he was here. Perhaps he will get out tomorrow afternoon so we will see what happens.

Mrs Moneypenny thanks love your letter arrived today xxxxx its just perfect thanks xxxxxx

I've been a good girl and done everything from the list!!! So now my kitchen is sparkling clean. If DH wants to live to see tomorrow morning he will NOT mess up the kitchen when he gets home in the next few minutes!

Anyway, doing a bit of paid work at the moment so I'll get back to it and check back later to see what's on the list for tomorrow.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

:p:p had a quiet day would have preferred to sleep but people kept chapping my door, one of whom was there to measure the door so I can get a new one. Not exactly as planned but I hope I will sleep like a log tonight.
