Nope.. they can open them and I can't.. so glad I moved the flour and sugar out of that cupboard!

I'm really annoyed.. I NEVER ask for help with anything and I shouted 5 times for someone to come help and not one of the bone idle toads came to help so I nearly killed myself dealing with them and vacuuming and sweeping.. which are 2 of the most painful things I do.. especially the dustpan and brush to shovel it up once swept.. I think I did most of it while blubbering in it all too.

    I am really fed up!

Any one fancy a NAAFI Break? I feel I've earned a :coffee:

I may just start labelling those spice jars while I'm enjoying a break. :p

I've been a busy girl and parts of the house are looking better already!

I hope everyone else is having a good day, whatever they're up to. It's sunny here at the moment. :j

Valli - I hope the asthma is only a short visit! It's been lodging with me since I was 21 and I'm %% now!!! Mind you, only one emergency isn't bad, I suppose. I also have hayfever (since I was 16) but escaped eczema.

Thank you for the info. The Spoon Theory is something I was explaining to one of my Learners the other day as she's been diagnosed with FM. DS and his gorgeous OH both have ME (his ex did as well, as some of you may remember, but she's been re-diagnosed with FM

Pigpen - I don't know whether I would laugh or cry, but I would also have helped while doing either.

Bossymoo - laughing about your dog. We had a gorgeous rescue beardie cross. She was very gentle, good natured, never destructive. Dad had a yellow and black stripped beanie hat with a pompom on. Whenever he came in from a walk, he would put it down on a stool in the kitchen. Every time she passed it, Jess would "woof" at it.

One day, we went out for a while and came back to yellow and black snow!:rotfl:

Needless to say, Dad put his replacement hat on the hall stand (does anyone remember them??? :o) every time he took it off!

Ah, just remembered, I've washed DogStar's bedding - all of it - from car, kitchen and landing!

washing on line. My mum has been - she called to tell me she's got me a treat -

Only this lot - ALL FROM M&S

1 bag mango slices (to take away bad tastes in my mouth;))
    1 Greek Salad
    1 punnet tiny plum tomatoes
    1 pack of salmon - 2 portions

    wow - just wow

    I'm to 'eat healthily' ;)

Piggers - I would have hauled OH down to deal with that lot by his ear. But then, I can't keep men. I wonder why?

They really aren't.. Squeak is currently trying to snot on Dot and screaming her head off and has been for the last half an hour and has hit Dot and snatched toys off her.. FAR from adorable... they are getting booted outside.. with OH.. he can mince and they can scream about being scared ... and I don't care!

I'm going to sort through my 'ebay' boxes and send the boys to the clothespig at the end of the street for some pennies!

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Afternoon. Back again :D

Ex has given me the paperwork to fill out and we've agreed on the maintenance amount. :D Had a good laugh at the fact he's had more post from his building society delivered here, although the postal address is some combination of this and his mothers address (where he moved to when we split in 2008!) despite him telling them he's moved :rotfl:

Just going to swap the washing over, make my bed, vacuum through upstairs, fill out this paperwork and then I'm calling it a day on everything except the laundry :p I might mop the floors later, but I'm not doing it now when I'm busy doing laundry. :p
