    Morning!

She is grown up, isn't she? It's frightening really, a few months and she'll be 3... She really does rule the roost here...

Sunshine here, beautiful blue skies, bacon and eggs in the conservatory, and about to get littlies dressed when they've stopped faffing with the eggs.

Then it's laundry and garden day! I've stripped all the beds, and remade theirs. All the bedding is downstairs but I've some winter coats in the wash first. They can all go out on the line today :T

So that is our plan for today. I did cook all the mushrooms so I'll whizz some into soup later for me. I think it's baguette pizza later for the littlies.

Hope the sun is shining for you all x

    Morning all

Some washing already on line and another load in the machine, DogStar walked and breakfast eaten. I've just had a quick skim through as I couldn't get on at all.

Thanks for that, Valli. I thought I'd been kicked out for crashlanding. :o I hope you're feeling better. I've only had the paramedics out once when I couldn't get my asthma under control and had to buy a nebuliser after that as an "in-case". I was the wrong age for the NHS to give me one, but the GP prescribes the stuff to put in it.

Would someone explain sticks & spoons please?

Dusty Kitten - thank you for the frog link - it all makes sense now! :)

I can't remember who said well done re: Basic Skills Tutor but Thank you. It's a cunning ploy by the Boss Lady. She wants us all qualified so that, if any of the tutor team are off sick, the assessor team are qualified to step in! ;)

Ajmoney - I took DH to barracks last night (officer with ACF but ex regs) , in uniform. I was rather nervous, especially when I saw a police car outside the gate but I think that was just coincidental. It was a horrific incident in Woolwich. I'm finding it very difficult when the news comes on, but it's time we focussed on the young man, rather than a couple of rogue individuals who are not representative of the whole of their religious community. It's a sad world we live in. :( They are achieveing their goal because of the media attention they are getting.

    BossyMoo - gorgeous photo.

Am 10lb down in a month :T but need to keep it up!X

Well done bossy - keep up the good work. :T I've got about 7lbs left to lose and it's being VERY stubborn. Your DD is so cute - rosy cheeks and curly hair - she's adorable.

    Morning all

Glad we are all back together - I had a little wobble last night when I logged on and it was down for maintenance. I hadn't realised how much time I spend on here with you guys.

It is beautiful here today, so we are all on "outdoor" jobs - tidying the garden, clearing gutters, taking moss off the flat roof above the kitchen, washingand hoovering the car and van, weeding, strimming and getting the washing up-to-date.

HHC at 10am anyone - I'm going to strip our bed and get everyone to gather washing.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

I've only got the nebuliser on loan; we will have to see how it goes. I had 'chest' issues as a child but it was diagnosed as an allergic reaction (apparently; I just remember fighting for breath) even though my mum (a nurse) was convinced it was asthma. However I outgrew it. I also have other 'related' problems; hay fever; runny nose a lot of the time (that'll be dustmites or something, then;)) eczema if I'm not careful and I had RA; all, apparently, auto immune diseases! So I was fairly certain the asthma, after a long holiday, had come back. Let's hope it's for a short stay!

    Anyway STICKS

These are thrown to entice BLACK DOGS away from their owners. I'm fairly cetain this is wholly a Flylady Thread thing! (The sticks not the dogs)

    Spoons are explained here

Flying - DW has been run overnight on cheap leccy as has the WM. For 3 loads WOOT! (benefit of not sleeping TOO well :rotfl: so when I am dressed I will peg it out because it's bright and sunny. Mind you it was VERY bright and sunny in my boudoir this morning - I had managed to knock the light pull in my sleep and I think that's why I woke so early!

I have had antibiotics and steroid tablets and the ex has phoned and I have updated him on what's what. DD isn't going there today as she's at work later. DS hasn't been for weeks anyway. I told him about DS's law prize; hopefully they are communicating! Ex knew DS had passed his test so that's good; DS must have told him.

When I saw the pic of Miss Moo in the football shirt a few months ago I realised she was a little firecracker. Her personality is writ large in her smile. Thanks for putting the photo up, Bossy.

Regarding unpacking from a holiday MMM, when OH and I came back from our first holiday together I was stunned to see him unpack in front of the WM! He had the whole lot done and out on the line by the time he'd listened to his phone messages, read his post and hadn't even gone upstairs! It's what we both do now and it doesn't half save a lot of time.

He really is a keeper, this OH of mine. He was woken up this morning by voices and thought it must be some random chatter in the shared garden (it happens, we're in a city centre). Turns out it was Lovely Lodger who has been off colour for a week or so, and she was phoning the doctor because she had taken a nasty turn for the worse. He got dressed and took her to A&E as she was told to go. I'll make him a bacon samidge in a minute.
    Better is good enough.

HB he does sound like a good 'un. My DH would have done similar. Helped out anyone in need.

Miss Moo is indeed a firecracker! Se is not nearly as mellow as DS. The pink cheeks are down to a sunny but windy day the day prior to the photo. I'm thinking it was more the wind as she did have sunscreen on and two days after she was her usual colour.

Bedding plants are all in the wall, looks very pretty. Kiddies did a good job of helping although did get carried away and dig up some we'd already planted :rotfl:

Still need to get garden vac out but it's so peaceful here I can't bear to bring something so noisy out yet. Will do it after lunch. Could take a while, we have a lot of debris...

Of to hang the next load out, then slurp my cuppa...

Well I am fit to kill this morning!!!!

While I was getting dressed the naughty small pinks were 'busy'..

I shouted for someone to come watch them, help clean and Dot needed a stinky nappy doing and Squeak was sopping wet and covered in a layer of sugar puffs... and HOUR later OH strolled down the stairs by which time I was filling the last dustpan of mess having vacuumed right through downstairs and up the stairs and swept all the kitchen.. that too is now vacuumed and a load of laundry hung out and both girls dressed... and OH has done the sum total of emptying the dishwasher.. I want to pummel him and the 3 lazy gits upstairs and put the 2 small things in the bin.. I can barely breathe with the pain in my hips and back now. Not that anyone gives a monkeys!!! I am so angry if I was capable of walking I would go out, on my own and not come back until tomorrow!!! .. if I bothered at all.

OMG pigpen, I would lose the plot I think... Are those kiddie-cupboard-lock thingys any good? I keep all our cereals in the top cupboards as I know DD would like to investigate. I've had to move all the felt tip pens out of the drawer so she now only can help herself to crayons and pencils.

Honestly, you just turn your back for a second and they get up to all sorts of mischief...

Actually, reminds me of when I had a dog, about 14 yrs ago. He was so p!ssed at me for washing his stinky beanbag cover that, when I next went out (for just 10min would you believe) he tore the beanbag to shreds. The kitchen looked like an avalanche had hit, he had white polystyrene beads caught in his fluff and even had one stuck up his nostril where he'd sniffed at them to see if they were edible :rotfl:
