The meeting with DH and his son seemed to go well last night, he is going to watch him play in a gig on Sunday night and I am going along too  a bonus is he is not coming here so I have a bit longer to sort the spare room and cut the grass. That is this weekend's job.

Hi all plenty of flying done just not in the house! We do however have a sparkling kiosk for tomorrow. DD helped too.
I came in to four yes that 4 black bags of washing courtesy of DS1. Each bag is full of wet stinky washing! Some of it has mould that was promptly binned. DS1 has been told next time he takes it to the laundrette at the top of the street.
I'm now sat on the couch cross stitching and watching waking the dead from the start on iplayer.
I will get a bit more stitching done before the weans are back and chaos is back again!

He probably will when his older son tells him he has seen him and he isn't an ogre.

    Evening,

I've had enough for today. Kiddies helped with toys away, and kitchen sorted after tea. Ironing all put away, just surveying the scene of devastation which is my garden! Nothing damaged, I don't think, but everything covered in bits of trees and shrubs. Broccoli looks a bit battered...

Still have FILs leafblower / garden vac thingy so if its dry tomorrow, and the wind drops (as forecast) it will be garden flying for us.

I have paid for our holiday! 10 weeks and we'll be there! Must stick at the old eating less thing. Am 10lb down in a month :T but need to keep it up!

    Have a great weekend!

    Evening all.

Well my plans for the day changed slightly. My new iron arrived so I decided to get on with clearing the backlog. DD now has clean, presentable clothes to wear/pack for going away tomorrow, but more importantly I had clean jeans (spilt coffee down mine this morning :o) to go to work in :rotfl:

Decided to declare a "lazy night" with DD since she's away over the weekend. So we've watched TV, ordered take-away and I've done 2 loads of washing that had to be done. Tomorrow I'll tackle the remainder of the list so I can chill Sunday and Monday. I might even venture out somewhere depending on the weather and my energy levels ;)

    Extras
Have some me time - you're worth it

    Thursday - Master Bedroom
    Only got 15 minutes

    Change the bed
    30 minutes to spare
    Dust
    Polish mirrors

Friday - Hall, stairs, Landing, Porch and forgotten spots
    Only got 15 minutes

Test your smoke alarms - I still haven't sorted these out :o
    Hoover these areas
    30 minutes to spare
    Wipe the banisters
    Got an hour
    Wipe the doors
    Clean any window ledges
    Extras

Well that will do for today. House is looking tidy throughout, just needs dusting and vacuuming/mopping basically :D Hoping to get all the jobs done while DD is out with her dad (they're coming back here to pick her stuff up before heading to his) then I can chill/potter for the rest of the weekend ;) Well, thats the plan. Could turn out like the other weekend where my phone didn't stop all day so only about half the jobs I had on my list got done :rotfl:
