Good morning
I am up earlier than intended. I had a phone call at 10pm last night from someone looking for childcare today as their school had an inset day! Don't you just love organised people!! It is 2 girls that I used to look after, but their childminder can't do it today. I am sure she would have told this mum, but she hadn't sorted anything out  I saw her name on my mobile & nearly didn't answer as I knew she didn't want to chat! But.... we need the money & I have trouble saying noNeedless to say - they are late despite me being up & ready for them  My kids aren't in school either & it is DD2's 18th today. I have put a helium balloon right outside her bedroom door so I shall hear the scream when she wakes up! (it is so easy to make her jump
) There is also an embarrassing picture (not indecent - just funny) on the front door & a banner
Dog has been fed, tea has been drunk. DH is wrapping DD's presents. I am waiting in the LR as we have no doorbell so I need to listen out.
Apart from entertaining children (and it is pouring with rain & will be all day) I am going to tackle some paperwork today. I really must get up to date as I am so behind
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them0 -
:bdaycake:happy 18th to your DD today GI hope she has a lovely day and isnt too scared by the balloon. good of you to step in for disorganised people, if it werent for the money id have been tempted to ignore as well expecially as you used to look after her children.
decluttered DS2 to school, in process of exicting DS1 from his pit, (might have to dyson the bit of carpet just outside his door if he doesnt shift soon)
bit too organised for me but i managed it,:T DS2 has been refered for a brace assessment, hes got 100% attendence at school and dosnt want to loose it so ive managed to find out when 1/2 term is in feb 2014 and just got the orthodontist to give him an appt that week. i know hell need other appts but the assessment is a long one so more likely to run over a registration time. they were booking 10 months in advance so it was the only way i could think of doing it.SPC~12 ot 124

Ironing will have to wait until the postman delivers my new iron. Since mine went BANG on Wednesday tripping all the electrics, I decided to invest in a "to keep" rather than a "do for now" one, and utilized some vouchers I had for @m@zon. So between the vouchers & the half price sale, I now have a £60 iron for <£20 including next day delivery:money: (Yes I know its Friday, but I ordered it late Wednesday as I was out working all day yesterday!) Can't wait to get the ironing done as I currently have the ironing hanging from every curtain rail in the house trying to minimise the creases incase the iron didn't arrive in time for me to get it done before DD goes away for the weekend:rotfl:
Okay, I'm off to tackle the kitchen at 9.30. Shouldn't take much as I've managed to keep on top of it this week for a change :rotfl:

Happy birthday to GIs DD x
I'm just up and discovered that OH is not in the house, he's not got his phone, so I suppose I better get dressed and go look for him:mad: if I find him doing something he shouldn't be (work) you will hear me all over the country.
Once I've found him I will sort a list!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -

DD1 needs to empty her room and fly round it to be signed off to carry her deposit to next years halls, so I dont fancy scrubbing past 10pm so I bid you happy flying, and will join you again for new thread soonThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -

FFP... has the invalid turned up? Honestly.. men are worse than children sometimes!
Nails pretty once more
Rice krispies devoured
Cuppa made
Tesco coming 12-1pm so OH is dealing with that. He has fed and dressed the tiddly pinks... why do men appear incapable of finding clothes that match?
