I'm on enforced rest. Emergency visit to GP was called for; I have been loaned a nebuliser...and diagnosed with asthma. back to docs again tomorrow to see how I am. practice manager is to be informed that leaving patients (albeit emergency ones) with breathing difficulties to wait until the end of surgery is probably not a good idea; according to practice nurse.

Oh no, hope the nebuliser helps, take care.

So glad I didn't attempt to put the washing out looking at the downpour out there  nearly time to collect the munchkin from nursery and crack on with the bedroom.

Oh goodness Valli, not pleasant (hugs)

FFP what have school had to say?

Kiddies were nagging me for dinner an hour ago, neither has eaten it :( so neither is getting a mini cornetto out of the freezer.

I seem to have plodded right around the house today. Sweeping up done, quick review of my summer clothes (yeah right), slow cooker filled for tomorrow, nursery fee and income calcs done for when tax credit renewal arrives. Not that I've had my p60 yet - took gross pay to date from march payslip but it might have pension deductions to account for.

Might dunk the littlies later, before bed. They better not ask for supper!

ill add my hugs to you and your DD FFP, sorry i missed your post earlier skim reading so only saw it went Dusty quoted you in her reply. i hope you do have governors in Scotish school they should look into it if the school isnt. hope something gets done to stop the bullying and help make school more bearable for your DD

sorry dusty havent tried those pegs so cant comment
    Thanks pal x
Hugs for both of you. If the Head doesn't deal with it then make sure the Governors know (assuming you have a GB at Scottish schools).
We don't have governors we have the school board which I'm assuming is the same they take to do with the running of the school and stuff like that. Never thought of contacting them x re the pegs I've never used them but they surely aren't rainbow enough :D

 So far today I've stripped and remade 3 Dbl beds, 1 KS bed, hoovered through, cleaned separate loo, bathroom and shower room. Dusted and polished said bedrooms, swept and mopped 2 kitchen floors, cleaned a kitchen, cleaned a playroom, washed internal windows, done a basket of ironing, cleaned a porch, including 3 large Georgian windows ......... and now I am home :rotfl:

Since getting in I have done Beggar all - head is willing, body is pooped. Dog is lying across my feet with pleading eyes for an excursion, but until I've had a cuppa and dinner, this body is not for moving.

    Shattered is an understatement.

Hugs to all those in need of a bit of support. Well done to others on major and minor achievements.

Bossy - fear not, you know your DD lubs you xx

    !

I spoke to the assistant head who said she would deal with it right away. She spoke to Piper and she told her everything and then she met with her again after lunch and said she had given the group of boys a big warning and if they even make her feel uncomfortable in any way she has permission to go straight to her at any time and let her know. The teachers have been told this too so she can walk out of class if need be. This is the first time it's been people (a group of boys) wanting to fight with her. It's been name calling before I'm really starting to hate the word gypsy  I fear I may have to play the racial discrimination card and I don't like doing it.

Racial Bullying HAS to be taken seriously and dealt with by all schools and businesses so if you have to play that card (or threaten to) to make your DDs school days happier then you should make it clear to those responsible for keeping the school running smoothly that you will.
I hope the problem is now sorted and there are no further upsets for your DD or you.
    Hugs

Well not a bad day productivity wise, I love days off! Commuting makes my days sooo long and tiring.

Today I have: sorted 3 loads of washing, tidied a bedroom, finished wrapping personalised wedding favours I've been making for a friend, visited my sister and taken the dog for a very long (very wet) walk, called Sky and got £14.50 a month knocked off our bill, called Scottish Power and chased them to recalculate our bills as they have charged us as if we have an imperial meter when we have metric (ie charging us for nearly 3 times as much gas as we use). Unfortunate,y my Scottish Power call was less successful than Sky....even though the enquiry started in January it could apparently take another 90 days!!

Now about to get ready for a meal out.
