We've had a couple of heavy hail showers and it feels dark here.
Kiddies fed, time for a chill I think. They want a DVD and DD looks tired so we might have some peace. She's been pretty good today, but I feel my patience is holding out too, so I'm calm and nothing is escalating. They've even eaten nicely!
LR was wiped, dusted, tidied and I decluttered a corner whilst dinner was cooking. Will sweep round later after DVD. Need to do hall and DR too - in fact just all of downstairs.
Stairs are impassable due to laundry, so I will hoike all that upstairs and collect towels whilst I'm there. There are toys all over conservatory floor but I'll ignore those till after tea.
Off I go - anyone joining me?Bossymoo

sun is out again now so I've hung out the swimmies and last nights pjs.
Suppose I should feed the short people.. I've been starving the last couple of days.. think I might have worms lol.
DW on
TD on to air yesterdays stuff which got rained on, I have half a load of undies to go in too.
Not sure where to tidy next tbh.. the whole house is a pit.. I might just fill out forms and shop and write lists actually..
British gas are bombarding me with calls because they want paying.. I get billed monthly and they didn't do a bill last month looking at my account so want double the money this month.. which I can't afford in one go so they will have to wait, I have the money, but it is the principle!
I might just do my knitting actually see if I can finish this cardy for the baby so I can start on the blanket I really want to do and another few cardies, I don't think 2 will suffice!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I need to get my @rris in gear!!
DH is putting up the gazebo in the garden. It is DD2's 18th birthday tomorrow - between hail showers. We have been to @ldi for salad & bits for Saturday. Only a few family coming over - most of them can't make itEither working or going on holiday. My sister is making the effort though - all the way from Bradford :T
The house is looking ok. The bathroom has been cleaned, downstairs looks ok, the garden looks ok - so I am not stressing about it
I need to concentrate on my business, I think. I need more work, but while it is quiet I should be catching up on admin stuff. Ofsted are overdue!! On that subject - DS has had to do a presentation about bullying for assemblies 2 days running (about 400 in each) as his school has Ofsted in at the mo. He has taken it rather wellIt is just him & 2 friends. Proud mummy
Ok - what do do?
I think I will clear the coffee table (with my junk on) as this is on the official list & my frog list (double whammy!) & sort some toot in the DR. DD2 has some of her photography stuff laying around & she has finished that now so it can be put away
Anyone want to join me for HHC at 2pm?

Thanks for making a very do-able Level 1 list this week Dusty. So far, I've achieved it. I'm getting to grips with some of the (very) longterm sorting out that's needed in this house and Level 1 really is all I can manage on top of that.Better is good enough.0

Coffee table cleared, started in the DR
I am just having a cuppa.
The gazebo is up, including lightsHe is just working on making sure it is tied down!!
I have turned the heating onI am so cold!! The boiler still isn't fixed!! It works for a while (has only had 9 1/2 hours work on it so far!! The last man was a vast improvement on the other one) but if we run the hot water it makes an awful noise when it is turned off then locks out! It sounds like it will explode  Hence, I only put the boiler on when I want to use it. Had a call from the company to say that the part should be in next Wednesday, so they will be round that afternoon. Thank god for electric showers!!
