    Great news, mrs-mp :)
Delighted to hear about your DH's son's visit, AJ :)

I am shattered - and I haven't done half as much as some of you have achieved in the past few days. DH has been very hard to live with since the weekend, but he did apologise this evening and thanked me for putting up with him, so I think the BD has run off again.

We had another blitz on the garage today and have passed on a load of timber and other oddments such as a brass curtain rail and some half-used tins of paint to someone who lives locally and took some stuff we had previously Freecycled. He turned up in a white van today rather than his own car, so as a bonus (because, rather than being picky, he's taken everything we wanted to be rid of) we also gave him our old upright freezer (in good working order) for which we have no room at the new house. He was rather surprised but very pleased: I just hope his wife likes it too!

I seem to have spent half the week on the phone, organising appointments and family visits. Tomorrow I have to travel 100+ miles to the city where I used to live, in order to see my solicitor and sign contracts ready for exchange (moving house 3 weeks today :D ) but I've also managed to arrange lunch with a friend while I'm there. Next week we shall be seeing all the grandchildren within 24 hours, which again involves a lot of travelling but is well worth the effort ;)

Apart from making phonecalls, today I have
    - washed up
    - S&S'd kitchen
    - hoovered study floor (shredded paper everywhere - don't ask!)
    - filed papers
    - WMx2 dried outside, folded and put in airing cupboard
    - sorted all our tins of paint into keep for buyer / take to tip / freecycle
    - helped DH move timber and paint out of the garage into the hall, ready for collection, and later helped carry it to the van
    - sorted our decorating equipment ready to pack in a large cardboard box
    - found that what I thought was a tub of tile grout was in fact just a tub of broken china :o
    - sorted the contents of the tools'n'electricals cupboard
    - sorted the contents of the screws and nails cabinets and boxes
    - filled the CS box again
    - HHCraftwork
    - prepared and cooked lunch and tea
    - "fed" one of DGS3's christening cakes whilst leaving the other plain
    - ordered a replacement plate for my dinner service after discovering a crack in one at the weekend: got one in a seconds sale even cheaper than I had been prepared to pay on eB@y :money: Most of my other pieces are seconds anyway (though it's hard to tell)
    - HHI while watching The Apprentice

    It's more than I thought :)

took DD3 for haircut, she no longer resembles a yeti, but more like 80's rockstar mullet meets Japanese Manga cartoon character

Compulsory Basic Food Hygiene Training tomorrow so I'm in the office all day, meeting my Basic Skills Tutor first thing to see if he's happy to accept my portfolio, in which case, I will shortly be a qualified Basic Skills Tutor myself. Next month I will be a fully qualified Learning Coach too (once the UHOVI board has met). And, if I pass the exam at the end of next month, I will also be a qualified Reflexologist.

Well done you have been busy. :T I was a Basic Skills Tutor for many years; still am to some extent. Very satisfying.

Morning all. As I did the bedroom yesterday, before the paid stuff today, I'm going to blitz the hall, stairs and landing as well as walking the dogs and the dailies.

Hope everyone has a good day.

It is truly awful what's happened. How they can even try to defend their actions is beyond me. D you think they really do believe its justifiable? Are they that indoctrinated?

Mrs MP yes, I know she's just pushing me. She'll not get a rise out of me today, we've had a chat this morning when she was being nice, and I said I love it when she's nice, it means we can have fun, and no strops mean she can have a little treat later. She has had a minor incident but she's not been constantly whining. That said, it's only 8.30 :rotfl:

Raining here, but washer on and kitchen put to rights. I'll go back and check my list on pg 9...

    Morning all x

Never got a chance to post again last night it was all a bit hectic. DD is getting bullied at school again so they are in for it again might have to phone the education dept too. I spent ages with her in floods of tears, then went for a bath and was in floods of tears myself.
Sorted DDs highland blouse last night while watching the telly and waiting for DS1 to get home, he never came home and never phoned so he's getting the riot act today. If he lives here he lives with our rules if not he moves out. He's also being told that if he's living here he's paying digs he's working and treats this place like a doss house.

Mrs Moneypenny glad that your results were good x
Bossy it's horrifying. My SS is a year out of the army and now he's thinking of signing back up. I hope he finds a job quickly then he won't go because my nerves couldn't take it.
AJ glad your OH is meeting up with his son. I hope all goes well when you meet him too just be yourself he'll love you xxx
