No I didn't.
Can a case that has been closed not be raised with the three regulators?

The opposite to this problem, but just had some of the fall out from messages automatically opening cases. Buyer had several orders in our system. Sent a message from item received about another item they didn't recieve (and for a different price) and it opened a case.
I told them to open a case for the correct item, but as I was receiving txt spk messages, the outlook didn't look good.
After waiting for the 7 days to elapse they escalated the case and got a refund for the wrong amount a few seconds later.
eBay had to refund me due to case opened for wrong item. User blocked obviously. Net result, a claim against Royal Mail for missing item, bad feedback for a good seller, eBay down by a few pounds, moronic buyer not learnt anything.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Wow, that all got too technical for me!
But going back to more mundane stuff, I'm damned if I can find a phone number to ring ebay - anyone know one?
And can someone please put me out of my misery and tell me what AMFA means?Oh dear, here we go again.0 -

Go through the contact tab , you'll need to do it via your eBay as you will need a PIN number to make it more straightforward.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Top margin, customer support> contact eBay> then choose a topic and choose 'call us' and you get a pin numberI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks Soolin but I think it's missing from mine.
I've done customer support> contact eBay> choose a topic (all in the left hand panel) but I don't get a call us option, only a link in the right hand panel that goes back to the resolution centre which shows my closed case. Am I doing something wrong?Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
I had a similar problem with an item I'd bought, promised refunds etc. so didn't open case within the time frame as I believed them.
I still had all the copies of the messages they'd sent, I phoned ebay and they contacted the seller. Got a refund the same day and a £20 credit to use on ebay.0
