I imagine that OPs main music source are on their bluetooth device (phone).

I'd got that ;). But connecting the phone directly into the car's audio system rather than using the older type of Blue Tooth hands free tech (as link in my last post) would make MUCH more sense for music. (I had a friend who did the former, and spent a frustrating long journey as a passenger in their car listening to appallingly tinny music as a result.)

The Parrot system looks very good as it combines the two .

The MKi9200 is £150 plus £49 for fitting. Plus you have to buy a cable for around £10.

I think I bought mine on a bank hol weekend & had a promo code or something.
I got the cable off eBay.

OH has just had a new company car, its a premium brand and the dealer was dreadful, there was an issue with the car not being as per OH order and the dealer got really stroppy and clearly didn't know the product he was selling. We were surprised as we expected a lot better from a japanese car dealer, the behaviour was more like the car dealers of 20 years ago and the salesmans knowledge of the product was really bad. I wouldn't trust a supplier now, I'd check the detailed specification myself and if needs be I would contact the manufacturer.

If you don't get the outcome you want but still keep the car. You could just put all of your music on a usb memory stick and leave it plugged into the car stereo.

Why is it obvious they do? Can you point out where you've seen that feature on your car?

I've trawled looking for your car and music streaming, however can't find a reference anywhere. I've also done a bit of digging and it seems Chevy don't usually support music streaming - most integrated bluetooth headunits fitted by them are voice only.

Turns out it may have been you talking rubbish to the salesman... :)

Playing bluetooth audio page 132 ;)

Might do this, not keen if there are visible wires etc to bluetooth kits. No call from salesman so far this morning, will put my complaint in writing if he doesn't phone today - don't expect him to keep his word with what he said to me on the phone Saturday, very disappointed by the company.

I've never ever heard of a salesman phoning a client for anything other than to clinch a car sale. Why would they?

This is the way I do it, much more convenient.

Not really, I have had to convert all my itunes files to mp3. Now I have all doubles in my itunes folder which means when I sync my phone it says my memory is full. And everytime I want to add a song I'll have to add it to the memory stick, no shuffle option, can't organise playlists, so not nearly as convenient.

No call from salesman, will ring tomorrow as even if he isn't going to do anything he should have phoned.
