Parrot mki system - fitted at halfords. Will cost about £160As I said the model we purchased wasn't the one we had originally thought we were going to. We were shown what we were told was the top model for that range, that it had some upgrades added to it also and offered a deal on it for just under 10,000. I asked about bluetooth and was told it had it, not only told but had a lengthy discussion about it.
An integrated bluetooth system should stream music from the iphone and support handsfree calls, my previous one did. I don't want a handsfree kit with wires trailing its not the same thing, I wanted an integrated bluetooth system that was the point in buying a model that had it already.0 -

It's in addition to the audio system. It has a small screen and is really neat. I was really concerned at first as I didn't want any wires to spoil my car! There is a wire in the glove box but that's it. Even then the wire is neat. The model I went for was the parrot MKi9200 it has a little wheel thing which fits to the steering wheel. The music quality is much better than a cd and plays through the speakers just as if it was integrated into the console.
That's the one I have, it's brilliant isn't it. I have the wire coming through a mini storage thing I have in the centre consol (prob for sunglasses or fags or something).
The only thing I didn't like was the controls on the wheel I kept hitting them. If I could buy a longer band I would have moved it to the centre spoke rather than the outer rim, but it the band is an inch or two too short.
So I put it on the grab handle to the right of my head.0 -
then he started talking rubbish about how none of chevrolets bluetooth systems play music. Obviously they do
Why is it obvious they do? Can you point out where you've seen that feature on your car?
I've trawled looking for your car and music streaming, however can't find a reference anywhere. I've also done a bit of digging and it seems Chevy don't usually support music streaming - most integrated bluetooth headunits fitted by them are voice only.
Turns out it may have been you talking rubbish to the salesman...

:rotfl: I do the same, its really annoying and i keep pausing the track
In the box, there is an additional piece of plastic that allows you to fix it somewhere else in the car, i found a pdf online yesterday so i'll be doing that today.
Glad i'm not the only one!....DEBT FREE AND PROUD

I imagine that OPs main music source are on their bluetooth device (phone).Ultrasonic wrote: »Do you mean you want to play music through a bluetooth earpiece or mini-speaker while driving? I liken it to my PS3 having a Blu Ray drive, yet my movies collection are all still on DVD, which is why I use a DVD Player to watch them.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

New Bluetooth car systems play music from your phone through the car audio

Yup, I realise that now
(see my last post
). I'd only previously come across pathetic systems like this:
