We had the opposite happen. We bought the Suzuki swift diesel. We were slightly disappointed that he didn't have Bluetooth but it wasn't a deal breaker as we got a v good deal on it. The brochure stated on the petrol z4 had the Bluetooth connection but we had the USB port.
Picked up the car and it had Bluetooth woohoo!
Sorry op that you haven't got it when they said you would. What have the dealers said?0 -

He is looking into options, possibly fitting a bluetooth system, he is going to ring back Monday.0 -
Well as I have said, the non of the Spark range has blue tooth either as standard or as an option. So unless you meant to purchase the Aveo, which is a different model altogether, then i'm surprised you considered the Spark.
If you are satisfied that the car was 'not as described' and you had intended on buying the Aveo, then you may have a case under the SOGA. Your problem would be how to prove it because the manufacture's literature won't help you if it is constant with the website. I don't suppose you have anything in writing (on the vehicle order form for example) which shows you requested blue tooth?
Initially we were just buying a basic 1.0 spark for me for back and fore work, when we went to showroom my husband went over to the ltz model and the salesman was telling him about the extras it had. And hubby said it would be worth looking at this model so that ratehr than get a basic model and want to change it we would be happy with it for longer. The only interest for me moving up from a basic model would be for air con and bluetooth - otherwise I would have saved my money and stuck with the basic model. We hadn't looked at the aveo model at all so wouldn't know what it did or didn't have. But I do expect that if I ask a specific question about what I am buying that I get an honest answer.0 -
Well it seems that the salesman thinks he may of made a mistake by offering you the hands free kit. Unless you wish to take this further, i'm not sure what else you can expect. Clearly the dealer cannot fit an integral blue tooth system to an already manufactured car so he is offering you the only option available to him.
As I said previously, if you can demonstrate that the car was 'not as described' (i.e. not having blue tooth when you were told that it had), then you could ask for a replacement (which would obviously mean an Aveo) or even a full refund by formally rejecting the car. But I would certainly take face to face advice first as I think you would find yourself having to go to court to achieve the latter options.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. Can I ask if they have just added a handsfree kit or have they replaced/adapted your audio system to an integrated bluetooth system?
It impossible to adapt the already integrated audio system so I went for a parrot Bluetooth professionally installed. No wires (which are seen) crystal clear an plays music from my iPhone via Bluetooth, can accept an sd card and answer and make calls hands free. It's perfect!DEBT FREE AND PROUD

Sorry for asking more questions, so did it replace your original audio system? Or is it an add on that is hidden away?0 -

I like the car, I was upset this morning, if he can do an after fit that will work with the current audio system and stream music and operate the phone hands free then I will accept that. If not then I will probably swallow the bitter pill that I should double check what I am told.0 -

That's ok
It's in addition to the audio system. It has a small screen and is really neat. I was really concerned at first as I didn't want any wires to spoil my car! There is a wire in the glove box but that's it. Even then the wire is neat. The model I went for was the parrot MKi9200 it has a little wheel thing which fits to the steering wheel. The music quality is much better than a cd and plays through the speakers just as if it was integrated into the console.DEBT FREE AND PROUD

Make sure that's the model they're going to fit as the standard one I don't think can play music although I might be wrongDEBT FREE AND PROUD

The salesman offered the one at first that didn't play music and said I wasn't interested, then he started talking rubbish about how none of chevrolets bluetooth systems play music. Obviously they do, he is going to check this and get back to me Monday with options for adding bluetooth. If no wires are visible and they offer a decent system I will go for it, otherwise I will live with it how it is and go elsewhere next time.0
