    You don't get any exact specs and they do get it wrong.

    If you want exact specs, you use something like CPU-Z.

    on the crucial site, if they get it wrong they will replace it - they guarantee compatibility, therefore with someone that doesn't know what they need it offers a very good chance they will be getting the right bits...

    all i want is a bit of ram please maybe up my 2 gig to say 4 or 6 maybe or is it recommended a little more? maybe 8 in total.

    on the crucial site all you have to do is click the bit below the 16gb suggestion that says "show all compatible computer memory" and it will give you all the options - of course, my suggestion will probably be poo-pooed shortly so you can make up your mind
