Only if anniemf2508 finds that the secret eater is her and she starts the show with "You know how I've been going on about someone helping themselves to food at night..."
Otherwise it's a terrible idea!0 -

I know, me too. The same poster has thanked a post that suggests booby traps etc, so I'm hoping so!Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -

You never know though, I'd have thought the secret camera idea was a joke if it had been phrased differently.
Me too! I can't think of a situation where I'd use a camera to spy on my family.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -

It's not really spying when the whole family know it's going to be used.
I'd rather sort the problem out once and for all than live with locks on the kitchen cupboards!0 -
We'll have to agree to disagree. I wouldn't use a camera hidden or otherwise and there would definitely be no locks.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0

We have recording devices in our home. They are not used for 'spying' but rather other situations, including security.
If needed we probably would use them. We haven't yet. But there are ways and approaches and considerations to be made if this were happening.
Edit. E.g. A consideration for me would be that As someone with a history of a 'food issue' of sorts and a current restriction of diet for health reasons there is no way on earth I would tackle this. I have seen this tackled ir families with a ed parent so many times and rarely successfully, and often in a way that I am certain makes things worse before better. What I might do is confirm this was the problem and get a qualified third party involved.0
