I thought the last attempt looked a bit commercial. This one does look a bit more neutral and less like it's trying to sell me something. Good job.

I don't like it. Having said that I did not like the current version when it came in but I managed to get along with it and I don't see there being too much of a problem when mse switches to a new look again.

I've always thought the present layout looked a bit cluttered at the top, and wished the side menu on the left could be moved to the top

So I liked it earlier, particularly that the forum page was full width without borders and no longer needed sideways scrolling to centre it. There were a couple of detail overlaps in the top right corner, as mentioned above; this is IE6 (800 x 600).

Personally, I liked that one - as it felt much more professional (though still a bit too random a use of colours)

Given the high quality of Martins' advice, I think the site looking like a Home-made multi-coloured swap shop, does him an injustice.

I like the "What's it all about" video, definitely should sit on the front page ;)

Very well done to all the MSE Team  :D

Great! I like the new look and can't wait to test it out.

Barclays are taking us to court! I used their complaints procedure on 1st May. They responded saying they were sorry we had a complaint and would look into it and promptly issued a summons on 10th May and have still not got back to us with the complaint. I have now asked the court for an extra 14days and to transfer the case to my local County Court. Just thought I would post this here for others to see.

Thanks to Martin and his team for giving us the confidence to do this. I will be glad when it is all over though! Hope it does not cost a packet!:money: :money:
