Pedantic, but correct:
There should be an S after Martin Lewis' in the page header.
Just because Lewis ends with S doesn't mean that you lose the S after the apostrophe.
Lewis's
Just like the department store of that name (does it still exist??)
The rule does generally apply to a pluralised possesive word but it is perfectly acceptable to put Lewis'. Two "S"s in a row are superfluous.0 -

It looks great, alot of work has gone into it I bet, looking forward to having a 'footer' around it, thanks for all the hard work Martin and the team
My vital question is, will it mean less closure due to maintenance? Im always a bit disappointed if I log on when home from work in the twilight hours and notice the forums are down for maintenance....but I know its vital to the smooth running of the site (poses petted lip xxx:laugh: ). Keep up the fantastic work guys xxxx
PS, handsome as always Martin :kisses3:This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. (SHAKESPEARE, Hamlet, 1600) :kisses2:

While it's certainly an improvement, I still think it looks a bit 'all over the place'. Colour blends, shadows, too many colours in some places, and not enough colours to identify the different buttons on the top menu, the 'Protect Your Pocket' button that shows someone picked the size of the buttons BEFORE checking how long the titles were going to be...
It still gives that effect of being a 'personal' website (put together by people who know Technically what they are doing, but aren't really Designing it) and not something Bigger. Which I admit could be a good thing in some ways, as Martin perhaps doesn't want to look Too commercial. However, I think given the popularity of his advice, people would expect a little more of a professional sheen on the website.0 -
I will be interested to see the forums when they are up and running, but it looks good so far!
My main issue with the current forum layout is the subforums are difficult to find out about unless you know they are there or are pointed to them by someone else. Will this change in the new site?Sealed Pot Challenge Member Number #19060 -
