Feeling on top of things myself after a good blitz yesterday - it doesn't take long to get into the swing of it again, does it?

    Glad to be back. :D

we've all had 'those' discoveries ;)

have been out in the garden with trowel and bag and removed almost all cat 'visiting cards'. (My cats...)
then I earthed up the spuds - and found one I had missed:o
We have had dinner. Only me (so far) for pudding - HM bread and butter pudding made with whoopsied spiced fruit loaf from Mr M's. Actually made it yesterday but it's been in the fridge all that time so it wasn't wasted.

Washing's in. Shall iron now then it can go away later.

Oh dear. I've found a dog on the Oldies Club website that is: collie cross, female, eight-ish, deaf, ex-stray, excellent ears .... all the qualities OH and I want in a doggo. Drafted and discarded an adoption enquiry email .... Struggling with this one. Any suggestions?

    Hilarious :rotfl:

Welcome to all the newbies - little and often, that's the way. The lists come around again the following week, so don't panic if you don't manage stuff each week. It's not a Must Do list or a competition. It's a little bit of gentle persuasion :D although if you do need a firm kick up the rump, just ask and someone will come along with a great size 9 :rotfl:

Okey-dokey I hear the bathroom door opening. Is that steam or anti-perspirant spray oozing out? Off I go, into the mist ......

Go for it! You know you want to. We've gone from a 4 pet household to a 1 pet household since Christmas. I had an email today that there's a 2 year old male collie been surrendered to the rescue I rehomed Star from. Telephone number included.............watch this space. :j Star has been missing her "brother" since we lost him in January - she's never been an only child! :p

FFP... you getting rid of him for a day... :D I hope he isn't too awful when he gets home,.. if he is double his pain meds and he will hopefully sleep for a month :p
well I hope it is at least a day this time. He went in a fortnight ago got his goonie on had his leg marked up and then got sent home as there was an emergency. He will be a right pain in the rear when he has it done cause he can't sit on his behind but I hope that will be slightly better than him hobbling about in pain.
Ooooh no... I do NOT do vomit.. I don't do my own and I sure as nelly won't do anyone elses!!!

Anyhoobles... Sister.. on the pretence of buying baccy bought 2 bottles of wine.. went home got sozzled.. decided she needed to go to shop at 11pm for baccy/gas/more wine (delete depending on who was being spoken to) and was accosted by 2 groups of scrotelike males and ended up being brought home by police.. not for the first time I might add.. phnarrr..

Oooh she is going to get a reputation with the local scrotes and the local plods for being a drunk and an easy target ..

I'm just mean I know, but after this weekend the small things make me happy.

And just to get out of the house (I've not left it since Friday night) I tootled along to church with OH and it was full of balloons so my face was itching .. they weren't near me so my breathing was ok and my mouth wasn't buzzy..

AND... Squeak used the big mummy toilet for a wee!!! She screams hysterically whenever she is near a toilet normally so this is a big step forward for her.. she has only been trained since September!
    :j:T well done Squeak :T:j
Discussing Squeaks birthday (which is a Sunday) apparently my children have no right to be there for her birthday party because.. they see her all the rest of the year!!!!!
thats shocking birthdays are family times the very fact the wean sees her siblings everyday is the reason why the are the ones who should celebrate with her.
... and OH wants to invite all his friends.. erm... it is SQUEAKS birthday not yours.. if you want YOUR friends to come you invite them on YOUR birthday... besides given the previous arrivals there is a large chance I will have just had the baby which would mean cancelling everything and just have picnic and cake.. I absolutely do NOT want people coming to my house when I have just had a baby!!!! You can guess who would end up tidying the whole house can't you?!
no I wouldn't have it either Piggers you'll have enough on your hands without running after his pals.
I am just so selfish wanting her siblings to be part of her birthday celebrations, I don't know how I live with myself just carry on with your selfishness I would :D
Hope all goes well for your OH tomorrow, FFP
    Thank you x

So far I have done hee haw apart from mask the windows in the caravan for OH. He's still over there painting I'm back here still contemplating the ironing! Need to stick the dinner on which seems like a huge job right now I hate not getting a proper sleep. :(

Tbh, HB I think you should send the enquiry email. If it's meant to be, she'll come to you. You do, after all, have a Collie-shaped hole in your life, and she looks like the sort of dog even I could manage easily.:o Older dog, sweet nature, just needs gentle walks - what's not to like?:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

[TMD]Once Narcissus (DS, almost 12) gets out of the bathroom, I will shower for work. I think I preferred the days when he was a smelly oik and the word "girls" made him feel sick :rotfl:[/QUOTE]

My 11 year old DS is a mirror hog and distressed by his black eye. In JL just now he said I need make up to cover it up :rotfl: Family wetting their selves.

Honey - yes yes yes or why else was you looking?

Another wasted sofa trip but got a few good reduced items in MrW and a decent £6 meal deal in M$S.

Just having a cuppa then I need to:
Shuffle washing on and off the line
    Roast the chicken
    Prep and cook potatos
Pot up 2 more dahlias and possibly 4 tomatoes
See if I can do HH in the front garden
