Morning all
Just reading the boards and trying to find my mojo. I'm working tonight so need to conserve some energy.
Jobs for today in no particular order are:-Get yesterdays washing out on the line - currently cloud watching - but I'm hopeful the bedding and towels WILL be back in the airing cupboard before I leave for work
Make a pan of leek, pea and parsley soup for lunch using up the curly veg in the fridge.
Bake some bread rolls to go with it
Make a roast dinner for OH returning from weekend away. He'll have lived on carp all weekend.
Deal with the paperwork in the study - the room would be lovely if it wasn't there.
Nit-check the kids. If I don't do this each Sunday, the "visitors" are bound to land
Charge my mobile. It seems that everyone else is always charging laptops, kindles, phones, you name it and I am always last in the queue. Well, whist OH is away, the charger is MINE, ALL MINE
Right, time for a cuppa and will stay in the kitchen for half an hour dealing with some of the above.
Anyone fancy HHC at 10.45? I'm aiming to do 2 or 3 and clear all of the above in one fell swoop.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Washing out although it looks like it's going to tipple down. Come on BBC Weather site, don't let me down, otherwise my neighbours will think I'm a nut job!
Soup simmering. Roast Lamb in the oven. Now need to look for a recipe for kale. Only had it once before and it was strange - both taste and texture - so I'm off for inspiration. Anyone have any ideas?
Thinking about Pigpen's karma - have they all gone down with food poisining after the meal? :rotfl: kids and adults being sick everywhere; Piggers unable to help "in her condition" and has checked into a hotel down the road for fear of catching it. Oohh how my mind is racing. Come on, Piggers, spill the beans!
Right, time to get the kids to shower so I can put on my Nitty Nora hat - oh the joysDecluttering junk and debt in 2016

Morning all
I'm not long up due to not falling asleep till after 4. I was just nodding off about midnight when some nasty little individual smashed the bus stop shelter and that was me not able to sleep.
Once I've decluttered this coffee I will re pack OH hospital bag for his op tomorrow but I need ironed pjs first so I will stick the ironing board up and do that
Off to do a bit xI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
- [STRIKE]Finish sorting/filing/shredding paperwork[/STRIKE]
- If the weather holds - cut grass front - postponed till next week due to unpredictable looking weather, also friend is coming next Sunday to help me in the garden! :T[STRIKE]& rear [/STRIKE](as poor DH can't because of his back injury)
- Prepare paperwork ready for Monday's learners - have decided to leave this as I will have an hour plus in the morning when I can do it as appointment is only 10 minutes from home.
- [STRIKE]Massage friend's bad back[/STRIKE] (at least Treatment Room is ready to use, clean towels etc ready)
[STRIKE]Put breadmaker on[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Hang out washing, reload machine [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean coffee maker[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean kettle[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean microwave[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Scrub green food bucket[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean worktop under the above appliances[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Bake some cheese pasties I found in the depths of the freezer [/STRIKE](& ate some for lunch!)
[STRIKE]Rake up the very long grass I had cut[/STRIKE] (it was so overgrown I had to use the strimmer:o)
[STRIKE]Lift some more garden debris[/STRIKE]
I feel like I'm getting back into the swing. :j
I've left the green bin at the top of the garden steps as it's black bin week. Hopefully, if the evenings are reasonable, I might get a bit done after work, although it's college night tomorrow and I've a night staff learner to see on Thursday night. I did the microwave too whilst the kids washed up after lunch - it had obviously not been done in a while
Feeling on top of things myself after a good blitz yesterday - it doesn't take long to get into the swing of it again, does it?
Although it doesn't look like rain, a quick poke of my head out of the door confirmed it is in fact a very fine drizzle. There's no way I'm lugging all those towels and bedding back in so it can stay there until the sun shines. BBC says 4pm - we shall see.
Wellies going on now and me and the kids are off into the woods with the dog. HHE for anyone else at 12.45? Come on, you KNOW you'll feel better for it!Decluttering junk and debt in 2016
