Hi there! Back from sunny Spain and already getting used to the wind and the cold rain - where is summer?

We had a really great break, but now our guest has gone home and we've cleaned, washed and ironed and are mostly tidy again, just need to sort some seeds and plants out tomorrow.

The cats are really pleased to be home, they are rolling about on the floor and demanding lots of attention - it's lovely!!

I've had a little read through, so good wishes all round, especially to any newcomers, and good health vibes to those that need them.

Back tomorrow, with more flying, R x.

Today has gone by me so quick,
    DD to dancing,
Helped OH put new skirting on the bathroom, when I say helped I mean of the supervisory type :D
    Picked DD up,
Hoovered the mess and cleared LR
    Took DD to her party
    Picked up prescriptions
Went to Mr Ts to price party things
Went to poundstrecher to price party things
    Picked DD up
    Made a pasta carbonara
And this is the first I've sat down not even got a coffee yet!

Piggers I'm sorry but I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut I'd have had to say something:mad: :mad: the utter cheek and bad manners of it. Personally I always go out of my way if I have visitors to make sure they are happy and fed properly even if that means making 2 separate meals. And the shoes, what is that all about? I'm taking it you have better taste than her and she just had to try them ;)

Away to get some paper and try out my food label party table thingymebobs and get a coffee!

After suffering the torture known as Eurovision, I've decided I'm going for a bath & bed but just remembered DH stripped our bed when he got up & hasn't remade it! :(

    Tomorrow's tasks:
    • Finish sorting/filing/shredding paperwork
    • If the weather holds - cut grass front & rear (as poor DH can't because of his back injury)
    • Prepare paperwork ready for Monday's learners
    • Massage friend's bad back (at least Treatment Room is ready to use, clean towels etc ready)
I may add one or two things...............................

    [STRIKE][/STRIKE]Put breadmaker on[STRIKE][/STRIKE]
[STRIKE][/STRIKE]Hang out washing, reload machine [STRIKE][/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE][/STRIKE]Clean coffee maker[STRIKE][/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE][/STRIKE]Clean kettle[STRIKE][/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE][/STRIKE]Clean microwave[STRIKE][/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE][/STRIKE]Scrub green food bucket[STRIKE][/STRIKE]
[STRIKE][/STRIKE]Clean worktop under the above appliances[STRIKE][/STRIKE]

DH hung out the second load of washing and brought me a bottle of water while I was lost in the jungle aka known as "the back garden". I haven't been able to cut it since last year as I've been too busy or it was too wet. :o

Loving eurovision twitter combination. Fire lit so all cosy,

 This morning I discovered that half of the work that took me all day yesterday (building 2 more Georgian houses) has been a waste of time, as the lengths of the roofs and walls don't match. I can't imagine what went wrong, as I was printing off the same file as previously and the sizes should have matched. Now I will have to make new roofs

On a brighter note, for two nights running I have slept better than for a very long time, so I am feeling much better in myself. I spent half an hour yesterday evening *not* watching Eurovision but cutting the lawn. Good thing too that I did, as our neighbours returned home from holiday late last night and now I don't mind them looking over the fence and seeing what appears to be a tidy and well-planned garden :rotfl: Forget-me-nots on the rampage hide a multitude of sins and buttercups as well as neglected lawn edgings! :rotfl:

Sunny day here. I have been utter carp this week but do now have 2 loads on line nd third in Wm. Dds in garden collecting snails. Bleugh. Plan for today is giving Dr table a good scrub. It's minging, including the chairs, and my put off job which is taking dd2 booster seat off chair and cleaning all the dirt from under there, double bleugh. Also plan on bathroom scrub, kitchen clean and put away boogie. If the weather stays sunny, I will go into front garden this arvo and continue pulling up weeds that have escaped through gravel and tidy edges up. Hhi whilst watching tv 2nite. That's plenty to go on with! X

    Morning ladies from sunny Essex.

I feel better after a virus woke me up yesterday. I rang the emergency GP and the Ab's appear to be working. It was very hard to watch Eurovision without wine!

DS3 has a birthday party to go to in half an hour so I'm going to do a HHC in my bedroom because it needs it.

    Good day wishes to everyone.
