No more flying done by me I decided against the ironing, Shocker!
Just had a massive argument with DS2 apparently I'm the worst mum in the world, I give him a time to be in for and I wouldn't allow him to stay at his pals house overnight as the pals mum is at work till about 3am and I don't like the idea of 3 teenagers home alone. Tough he'll just need to live with it and he's now grounded for giving me cheek!
On the agenda for tomorrow DD to dancing and then I can get the ironing done before birthday party duty. And that's about it just now but it could all change!
bossymoo glad you have arrived safely have a great time. Sounds like perfect caravan weather. Almost as good as shorts with wellies!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
I've had quite a good day - a bit of flying, a bit of crafting, a bit of cooking and friends here for a meal this evening.
Went shopping
Sorted family history papers and cleared the DR table
Emptied and defrosted old freezer in garage (it's not coming with us to the new house so I need to find it a good home)
Rearranged contents of freezer in kitchen to accommodate the last few bits from the garage freezer
Saw the last of our big compost bins off with its new owner
Did some craft work. Remember the Georgian house? Well, we shall shortly have 3 of them!
Baked German gooseberry cake for dessert, nom-nom
Prepared meat and veg
Tidied everywhere while DH hoovered round the ground floor
Cooked a meal and had a relaxing evening with a glass of wine
Wish there were more days like this!
Now ready for bed. Night-night, everyone!0 -

your son doesn't know he's born (as my Grandma, and she WAS tough) was wont to say!

Morning all. I want to say a big thankyou to all you flyladies. Firstly for the posivibes for DS - he has a new job!!!! And secondly just for the ongoing support on here, I had Two, yes Two, unexpected visitors this week (I don't normally get visitors at all, last lot was 10 months ago and planned) and the house was in a fit state to welcome them.
So to today and this is what is on the agenda:
Clean fridge and meal plan
Walk dogs
Do local shop
Meet someone to sort out more volunteering
Do big monthly shop (bi monthly really now)
Walk dogs again
Relax with DH as it is our anniversary today
I hope everyone has a great day and I'll probably pop in later.Spend less now, work less later.0
