How did your mum get through to take the photograph? ;)

Looks like there is plenty of room to crawl through underneath the sink.

That you for the replies, the holiday was booked as a package through easyjet holidays. Easyjet told me they could move hotel, but have to pay an extra £300 to do it. Or they would refund my parents £250 between them, for a £750 holiday, if they changed hotel independently.

I did find them another one, but it was another £200 on top. Plus the £250 refund is not enough to find a hotel for 12 days at that short notice!

They are staying put for now, luckily the toilet is reachable, otherwise I would have made sure it was sorted before now!

I think it's what any person would do for their parents, or anyone who is abroad and needs a few phone calls making to try and solve a problem. But then I'm a nice person!!!

I've never been on a package holiday, and one reason for that is that over the years I've heard so many horror stories like this one. I've done a lot of travelling, though.

What happens - on a package holiday - if you decide you really do not like the conditions you're expected to put up with and want to cut it short and come home? Is that at all possible? I realise that's not what mum and dad are doing, but would it be possible, if they did?
