Mum and dad on holiday now, help appreciated

Did your mum happen to mention to Easyjet when the holiday was booked that she had mobility problems and would need a room with lots of space around everything so she could move around?.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
I have just spoken to mum and dad, and they have decided to stay put, they looked at the place I found on the internet, and it wasn't very nice plus they would have to pay £150 extra!
So they will try and make the best of it, and borrow the other shower, I've told them to go and ask each morning if anything is available, but the manageress will not speak to them now!
The trouble is they won't let them view the annex to decide if the room is ok or not, but have seen at least 3 sets of people moving out of the annex into the main hotel! Sounds horrendous.
Thanks for the few nice replies, sounds stupid but the first lot really upset me, making assumptions about my mum and dad, at least I know the truth, they are just trying to have a well deserved holiday.0 -
Sounds a little harsh I know but when your mum comes home perhaps she can be encouraged to lose a little weight, then this kind of thing won't happen again. I'm guessing the flight wasn't too comfortable either.0

Maybe your mother should book accommodation that is built or adapted for people with disabilities or mobility problems. She may not like to think of herself in those terms but it would ensure that she does not encounter problems in the future.0

"My mum is a very large lady, and can't walk well"
Seem like a good idea.0 -
She has tried very hard to loose weight, but after a heart attack 8 years ago (when she was a lot thinner) she is on medication which slows her metabolism right down, and can't seem to shift the weight. Arthritis in both knees restricts he ability to exercise.
Hoping they have some luck with the room change today.0 -
