I paid for something once by paypal and didn't have the money in my bank account to cover it and no overdraft. However paypal still took the money and I was changed by the bank a fee for going overdrawn when I didn't have an agreed overdraft. That's why I didn't think it was possible to go into a negative paypal balance (wish they had done that to me - would have meant I didn't have to pay the bank charge)

Being on JSA does not make you stupid, neither does having English as a second or third language- in fact a few regulars on here have English as a second or third language and explain themselves a great deal better than I do. However, your posts feel me with dread especially the girlfried who appears to be using you as a cash cow and a place to sleep, and you are coming across as stupid and i truly hope that I have once again missed a troll and this is not serious.

The scenario as you state it is posisble, unlikely I agree, but possible. However you must understand that being on JSA makes no difference to your debt, you have bought something, forget your dodgy sounding professional lady and the JSA- *you* have bought an tiem and now you must pay for it.

So either call paypal and agree a payment plan , pigs might fly and they might just agree to it, or expect a lot of harrassment from some rather unpleasant debt collectors.

I do still believe there is an outside possibility that this will be paid by your bank if they go to a back up source and take it via debit card which is not protected by the direct debit scheme.

My thoughts too, either a comedy genius or the saddest and unluckiest man ever.

    worst case is
paypal will send endless letters and phone calls to chase for the money. they can even consider court action. I know from experience that their debt collection company arent nice. They do agree to payment plans sometimes but can and def do harrass you,it isnt nice.
