Need help please ,negative balance on paypal

I bought new I phone 5 worth 585 pound from ebay and paid by paypal throught my bank account .
but i have no money at my bank account and 0 balance on my paypal , the transaction going throuh and we got the i phone
i bought for my gf because she said i have no account in ebay oe paypal and said please do it for me and she said i will deposit the money in my bank account but she didnot and she took the i phone and left me , even i try to give back the i phone she refused and sutdown here phone . I dont know here long time only 3 months from the internet and she always come my home but dont know where she live , i just been stupid and i trust here
now i have - 585 in my paypal and this a huge money for me as iam unemployment and iam on jobseeker , i have no money at all to pay this ,,
what will happen now ,,what can i do please
all my information on paypal is true and address and bank account
iam very worry , they will take me to the the court then jail or what ?
what if they refuse monthly payment say like 20 pound a month , cant offer any more

How did you fund the purchase if you had no money in your paypal account?

Why is the balance now negative??

because my bank account linked to my paypal and i always do very small purshas to me even i have 0 in my paypal
and now negative because the transaction of iphone 585 pound go throuh and the seller take the money from paypal as the paypal will debit my bank but i have no money and never have this amount in my banks
iam only on jobseeker allwance

How can the seller take money from your account when it was empty?

Did you sell something that did not exist, empty the paypal account and then end up with a negative balance?

paypal paid the money to the seller as my bank account linked to paypal and then paypal will take the money from my bank account

I can't understand how they would send the phone out if you hadn't paid for it?? Usually you are sent an email stating it has been paid for and you are safe to send out. Especially with something so expensive, the seller would surely wait until the payment had cleared??? All sounds very strange!

P.S if you're only on JSA why are spending that much money on a phone? I don't use a mobile phone because they're just too damned expensive(never mind the health risks!) prefer to spend my dosh on holidays than waste it on a mobile and their charges

end up with negative because i revived the i phone , the seller sent out , and i saw my paypal account - 585 pound , thats all think mabye paypal pay the money for sure to the seller

Do you mean your bank account is in negative?

I have never heard of a paypal account in a negative balance as if the money is not in paypal they take it from your bank account.
