Update Note Thurs 31 May 12pm.
Having run out yesterday, thankfully eBuyer has reordered and should have about 60 of each colour available to buy in the next hour. A further 100 more should be available for order on Monday. MoneySavers have smashed the stock in three different online retailers (well I suppose thats what happens when you email 1.25 million people with a bargain!)
The Cheapest Stockist £24
eBuyer is offering the Sumvision 4GB mp3 player for £34 including delivery, yet buy it via Google Checkout, as it offers a £10 discount if you buy over £30, and you can get it for £24. This is a great price for a player this size! 4GB will store roughly 1000 songs.
As I write on Thursday night it's out of stock, but I've spoken to eBuyer who confirms it should be back in very quickly (hopefully Thursday 31 May). It's available in Blue or Black for £24 and white, red or pink for £26 - stock levels differ with each, so try them all.
Next cheapest.
Web retailer Aria is currently selling the same machine for £41 including delivery, though again by getting it through Google Checkout's £10 off offer (for £30 plus spending more on this below) you can nab it for £31. Again MoneySavers have bought it out, but it should be back in soon. Check stock levels here.
How does the Google Discount work
To receive the £10 discount, simply click the 'Pay by Google Checkout' button. Then either sign into your Google account, or register for one (it'll ask you if you want to) if you haven't already done so. After that, it is easy to make your payment, and you'll get the smart £10 reduction (for more info about the Google offer, take a look at this forum thread.)
Be sure to select supersaver delivery from the shipping options menu for the cheapest price.
What is an MP3 player and what can it do?
For those that been living in Outer Space for the past few years an MP3 player is a portable device that stores, organises and plays digital music (or other audio) files. You can listen to music, podcasts, audio books and even download a language course on to one (See Learn a language for free on your MP3 player).

IF YOU SPOT ANY OTHER CHEAPER DEALS PLEASE REPORT IT BELOW!

PS. Normally I include a range of players with similar prices. The only deals that came even close have both sold out, so at the moment this is head and shoulders cheaper than other similar deals hence no comparitors. Yet if you spot one that should go in, please report it below.

I've had a 2GB one of these for a while now and thoroughly recommend them.
I word of warning though; they aren't the most intuitive of devices. You have to learn it's idiosyncrasies and ideally change your ways to get the best from it. I've split my music into subdirectories A-C, D-F, ... in order to have less tracks to sift through if I want something in particular.
They are tough though; mine survived a trip through a 40 degree, 1200 spin wash last week!0 -
My latest MP3 is a bit of a pain as it doesn't allow you to select a folder, making it difficult to find favourite tracks.
MP3s I have had have all suffered from sweat in the gym, best to keep them dry.0 -
Out of stock at 8:00am this morning....:mad:0

Just bought a pink version for £24.90 all in. Not too shabby. It's not just the receiving, it's the sharing of discounts that matter0

Looks like there might be a couple of small caveats here. According to the ebuyer site, the interface is only USB 1.1 (i.e. the old USB standard), so if you're transferring across a shedload of files, it's likely to take an eternity.
Plus, it only seems to support MP3s, so AAC, WMA, etc are out.
Although for this price, who cares? :-)0 -

This firm https://www.svp.co.uk are also doing the Google checkout offer. You can get the same Sumvision 4GB MP3 from them for £21.08 plus delivery (which was £4.95 special delivery last time I got an MP3 from them).0
