a day in today. one dd has recovered, but now the other dd is poorly. not a lot will be done today. I had plans for tidying/baking etc but not sure how much can be done whilst cuddling a sleepy girl....still shes the most important thing today.

Hope your DD feels better soon. at least they are not ill at the same time. And you take care of yourself as well. Those kiddie germs are so easy to catch.Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

thank you megela and mouche.
Dd2 still poorly, but slightly improved yesterday. Led me to a false security and subsequently I have extra washing again this morning
Having my hair cut and coloured today (hoping dd2 is ok to leave with dh). This isn't something I'm willing to compromise on anymore after a few bad experiences with hair dye and it frazzling my hair!! Still its only £40 every 6-8 weeks. I used to pay £100 every 6 before the kids came along.
Small spends yesterday - popped to the shops £11.70 which I was pleased with as my budget is £50. Hoping to roll this over and have some spare to OP but my plan is for a shop at the weekend or next week and see how much we spend/need - should definately have some left. I might also add a few bits to hide away for christmas.
OP yesterday was £3. Also added £9.74 to savings pots as I sold an item.MFW.....Apr 33 Aim - Dec 260 -
pretty rubbish week has left me feeling very demotivated.
it has however pushed me into a long term decision that i was struggling with - i've bit the bullet now and it feels good. i know it will be hard work and take a long time, but hopefully worth it.
i've popped £7 in the savings - not a lot but i've paid out for a few presents this week (i wasn't expecting to pay this so soon, but its paid for now and done!).
only bought milk and bread this week, so grocery budget has £20 odd in to last until tomorrow!! I'm undecided whether to OP, or put towards christmas grocery shop. i think i may OP.
happy sunday everyone/MFW.....Apr 33 Aim - Dec 260 -

Hi tootoo
Thanks for popping into my diary and for the welcome
Looks like you're doing great - the little OPs all add up!

Hi Runninggirl
Thank you.
I can only do small amounts, but over the years they will add up
My children are very young, when they are in school and I can probably work more hours and then pay off more. It is a little difficult to stay motivated when Dh doesn't really get my thinking.....
Jobs today - been for a small shop - £30.49 this should last (other than milk and bread) for the week.
I also need to do my meter readings and see how much we have used. I have been using my td as I cannot get it dry outside and cannot get it dry quick enough for my washing pile!MFW.....Apr 33 Aim - Dec 260 -
Meter readings done -
In one week we have used £8.89 in electricity and £6.45 in gas (total £15.34)
Pleased with that. We are now in credit rather than in debit which we were a month or two ago. I know this will spiral when the cold weather hits us, but I intend on inputting the meter readings weekly/fortnightly and then paying what we owe straight away - that way dh will hopefully get the idea of how much we are spending!
I've just popped some washing on the line (i'm sure it will rain soon, but at the min its dry and windy), if i can get some part dry then it will not need as much drying.MFW.....Apr 33 Aim - Dec 260 -
Hi tootoo
Any amount is great - and small amounts definitely mount up!
My DS hasn't been at school long but I tried the whole working full time thing and gave it up very quickly! Love that I can take him to school/pick him up some days and then get the homework done, take him to activities and spend a bit of time together. Full time was great for the money and the mortgage would be gone so much quicker if I had stuck with it but they're only little once!
Envious of everyone with their TD's lol! I refuse to get one as think I would just want to use it too much. But when it comes to this time of year and struggle to get clothes dry outside (and inside!) I really want to get one. :cool:OPs Jan - Dec 2013: 6915/6000 :beer:OPs Jan - Dec 2014: 3900/7500Adding to savings: 550/20000
