    Thanks Running Girl

I got my td from a family member when they moved house last winter. I have to say its a huge help with all the laundry I have. I do try and dry outside where possible. Today is cold, but supposed to be dry so It will go on the line!

Another OP made - £20 from dh. I really must start adding them up, but this week I have paid £33 odd :)
Still focusing on my savings though as my main point.

I'm looking into saving as much water as possible. I've just had a dripping tap fixed so that will help. Also had a water saving aeriator (Spelling?!) put on so that should help too.
    Have a good day everyone.

hehe - my td is a very boring (fairly old) version!! Nothing special but it does the job :)

Savings now at £509.25 - still vaguely hoping to hit £1000 by the end of the year....

I've been spending a little this week. Need to stop myself. Not a lot of money, but little bits that add up.

Tumble driers? High tech sorcery! The last tumble drier I had was when I lived in a basement studio in Edinburgh. It was actually outside the flat (across the tiny courtyard in a storage cupboard that was actually under the road). It was a surreal experience, taking your wet clothes outside to tumble dry on a chilly winter evening in Edinburgh.

    Good times :)

We had similar in our first place (rental).
The landlords were really kind and let us use their washer and td in the outside store room. We never paid for any utilities there - included in the very fairly priced rent! Looking back we were very lucky, but we only stayed 6 months until we bought our first place/project!

I have treated myself tonight. My mum kindly gave me some pennies under strict instruction that I bought myself some clothes! I've ordered two tops (free delivery and % off!) so hope they fit. I have about £13 left so that will probably go into the savings :)

Tumble dryer envy is getting worse....... :rotfl:

Always nice to treat yourself, especially with clothes! I LOVE getting new clothes just hate the though of parting with the pennies to pay for them. Hope you like them when they come.
