    Hi blue - thank you.

    Lazy(ish) sunday here.
No plans of going out. Will try and do the usual cooking including cooking tomorrow nights dinner ready. Should really bake so we have some treats.
Have sainbugs coming late afternoon and I've barely ordered any meat as I'm really trying to run down the freezer,
Also could do with doing the usual daily load of washing and drying and then clean the bathroom...exciting stuff!
No Op's this week, but I will hopefully be able to op more once my savings are at target.

    still no op's!
Need to do a tt at least tomorrow.

I have been looking at next years plan and my aims.
I'm struggling with it a little due to the mortgage being renewed, but I'm going to aim for a 1/4 year plan to keep me motivated and then devise a plan once i know more of the new mortgage.
also have lots of savings plans and pots I'd like to add to.

I still need a few christmas gifts (stocking fillers only) so may try and pop out this weekend with the little ones to do this (could be a challenge on my own with it being so busy, but may give it a go!!)

Decided to be mse today. Instead of popping shopping - I'm not. I'm staying at home meaning saving pennies. Should probably go somewhere at the weekend, but will try and limit my spending.

Savings now at £973 - nearly there.
Christmas shopping - just some stocking fillers needed for dh.

I now have a much bigger clothes airer. My old one is a single one which holds almost nothing! I now have a tall one with so many rails for hanging. One load is already drying on there - no tumble dryer used since its arrival! Still annoyed on the energy front that I cannot get an actual use online now. They did however email and say that my dd is dropping to £88 pm. This will most certainly go up the next few months, I wish i wouldn't though!!

still trying to use up stocks a little (especially the freezer, which somehow still seems to be full?!).

Anyway, must get along. Almost the weekend.

Good on you tootoo...the shops are so full of 'bargains' that you end up buying stuff you don't actually need. I need to venture online for some final Xmas shopping and I will have to keep tight hold of the credit card!

Can you tell me which clothes airer you got? I need to get a new one and I don't have a tumble and my two old ones are a) falling apart and b) not coping with the amount of washing we generate!

    Hi mouche
I've just bought one from wilkos (they had a free delivery day this week which i took advantage of).

I've been looking on amazon as usual, but they were more expensive and some reviews weren't great.
I'm impressed with its sturdiness - even with the two little ones helping put washing on it earlier!

I'm starting to dislike my tumble drier. It takes up quite a bit of space in my kitchen too, as soon as it gets warmer next year I'll banish to the shed :)

I did however have to use it for 10 mins today to finish off the bedding, but better than the usual hour or so as I did two loads.

I have to say I was getting worried about getting wet last night as we were on warning, but its been dropped now. Only a few houses have been affected thankfully.

    Another few days have passed.
Sunday and Monday were NSD and today small spend (needed bread and milk).
Decluttering is going slowly, but I did manage to drop a few things off at the charity shop yesterday which had been in my boot for a week (oops!). Still job done now.

This week I need to sort out the remaining gifts (order and maybe pop out to buy a few) only stocking fillers needed. I also need to wrap some more gifts.
Mum has my brothers & family gifts ready to take over (I won't get chance) and I posted off two gifts and all my cards today - a good job out of the way.
This week I need to hand out my cards and post to neighbours etc.

I'm going to re-try my slow cooker. I lost a bit of faith last time, but I'm going to give it another try!

A few pennies ready to be sent to my savings and I'm pretty sure I can meet my target by christmas. I'm already thinking of 'targets' for next year.
    have a good evening!

    NSD today.
Should also be a NSD tomorrow (although I need to pay my work lotto).
First slow cooker meal last week was yummy, so looking for a different recipe this week. Hopefully I can use a few times a week and will save a few pennies on elec/gas.

OP of £3.83 made yesterday, still trying to chip away. Also paid £18 off into my savings so I'm over target before my target date :)
