Fantastic savings and OPs tootoo. You're doing really well. And your grocery stash sounds like mine!Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

gallygirl - thats a striking resemblance!!
newgirl - no, keep getting rumbled and i'm running out of hiding places....i will keep trying though.
Thanks mouche. Still on run down. I will need to pop and get some shopping this week, but will ONLY (i'm reminding myself!) need veg, fruit, fruit, bread and cat food.
Was going to do dh fish, chips & mushy peas tonight. But he said unless we've got homefries in he doesn't want it. Firstly, there is no room in the freezer and secondly, the are expensive if not on offer so I don't buy them! So, something else on the menu instead.
I called my mortgage co. yesterday and I was told the statements were due out any day. I'm not sure why I'm so excited as I've only OP'd £200 odd but still it'll be nice to see.
Now off to check the bank and hopefully up my savings balance....MFW.....Apr 33 Aim - Dec 260 -
Savings now at £918!!
Really pleased with my slow progress, but on my wage I'm chuffed
This week I really need to write/address some christmas cards and wrap some presents.
I also have a stack of ironing which I really should try and do tonight.
As for christmas shopping, I think I've done apart from a few stocking fillers and the second part of another gift.MFW.....Apr 33 Aim - Dec 260 -
You're very organised with Christmas tootoo. We don't really celebrate in a big way in the mouche household but I do have some presents for friends and they must be posted soon.
Do you think you'll get to £1,000 savings before the end of the year? I bet you will!Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

Mouche - i think so if all goes to plan (and I stop shopping!). Just brought a few bits for the stockings and a secret santa gift (so hard as I don't know the person!).
All with codes though so free delivery!MFW.....Apr 33 Aim - Dec 260 -

Congratulations!!! Fantastic news and real proof of how hard you've been working to OP. :TMortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

thanks mouche.
I can't help but feel a little down hearted though. We are up for renewal mar/apr and will no doubt have to pay to reserve a dealIt'll probably be even more than we op'd so far so will probably go back up anyway!
Still, at least it won't be as much add to the loan as we've op'd some.
I didn't do meter readings last week and decided to switch to fortnightly. However it appears the energy company don't want me to know how much I've spent now as they've changed the website! It used to say how much had been used, but now it doesn't. I guess you just have to keep going on and checking for them to add to the account. It is as though they don't want you keep an eye on your pennies - strange that.
It will be a NSD today as I'm not intending on leaving the house....!
Trying to get the house back in order entertain the little ones and generally get organised for christmas ( 4 weeks!!).
I have an endless amount of jobs to do so must get on.MFW.....Apr 33 Aim - Dec 260 -
Congrats on the sub 70s - a round on me !
Utility companies are always trying to make money from you! We recently received a refund and as a result your monthly DDs have been increased?! No sense :doh:M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0
