    I say go for it.

It's an oppertunity to clear a good whack of her debts and the chances of her getting caught must be pretty remote.

Besides, she might discover that getting her kit off is a far easier way of making big bucks than teaching a class full of brats and go into it full time.

    No no and thrice no.

As a school teacher she could lose her job i'm sure if the goveners board found out.

Anyone can buy these magazines and i'm sure it wouldn't be long before word got round.

She should come on MSE and learn how to clear her debt in other ways!
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

    They all have their price.

What about her future husband? I'd feel ashamed of her where ever I took her. Not to mention when she has kids they would be teased at school.

Ok she dosen't have any problems with it, but her future loved ones will have to carry the shame.

She'd be better off prostituting herself to some rich sugar daddy through an escort agency.

Thats how I met my wife!

I have to agree with everyone who has said that this is a BAD idea considering her career. It's not difficult for boys to get hold of adult magazines and lots of primary school kids have older brothers. And I don't think some people would hesitate to let her know that they have seen the pics. I agree that if, or rather when, she got found out the best case scenario, would be that it would make her teaching exceedingly difficult, and worst case, her teaching career would be in the toilet.

Why are they called "glamour" photos anyway? More like sleaze ones to me. And no, she shouldn't do it if a) she has any self-respect; b) she wants to keep her job; or c) she doesn't want her dad to see them!

.... that would be her religious dad.... that would not approve.... looking in a "glamour" type magazine..... oh yeah!!

I think that Jordan has a job that demands she sets examples via her public out of school life, as well as via her behaviour in the classroom.
Just as it would be an unacceptable example to her pupils for her to get drunk publicly, so it would be unacceptable for her to model in a glamour magazine (no matter how small the risk of any of the school governors, her colleagues, pupils, or their parents, seeing it). I also believe that it is very likely her teaching contract does not allow external paid employment without prior permission and this 'job' is unlikely to pass the vetting procedure for that either.
Teaching comes with much greater responsibilities than just what is taught in school.

I'd say "you can kiss good bye to your teaching job"! No doubt doing this shoot would send the Media into a frenzy! but hey she would get a lot of attention for a while, but could she deal with the added stress. Perhaps she could take a career break and see how the glamour side works out. Good luck in whatever path she chooses.

I have considered doing photo shoots of similar nature in the past. I am also a qualified teacher. A couple of years ago, a teacher had her qualified status removed, though she was doing prostitution (if I remember correctly) for additional income. If you are comfortable with the idea of the photo shoot and it seems it's with someone you can trust, I would recommend checking with all the teachers unions first. You don't have to tell them who you are, and at the end of the day, it will be them who will back you up should it be required.

She shouldn`t do anything that compromises herself, see a debt counsellor instead.

Should social services take children away from parents who have ever posed nude? And if not, why should a teacher lose a career over it? The ultimate responsibility for raising children lies with the parents, and if such rules don't apply to parents, it is hypocritical to apply them to teachers. After all for a teacher it is at the end of the day a job, for the parents it is a lifelong responsibility. Putting it another way, teachers aren't required to have a particular religion or support a particular political party. Why should they have to have the same attitude towards nudity as the hypothetical hypocritical parent/school governor/moral guardian (the one who has spotted her in his/her favourite top-shelf mag!) in question?
I wonder if there is a link between the parents who think that it is unprofessional for a teacher to pose nude and parents who don't take responsibility for raising their own kids? ;)
