Orange Premier Customer?
Query resolved!
Thanks for your input guys, spoke with someone at Orange and EE and it was all cleared up - very happy, everything above board. There are a few new services coming online.

Are you sure it wasn't a third party company claiming to be orange, trying to get you to take out a contract with them?0

It was definitely orange - I even had texts from them which came from the same account as my bill texts saying that the new SIMs are on their way (free upgrades to 4G). I'm not querying whether the offer was from them, I'm querying whether anyone else has come across this and if it is indeed what it claims to be.
Having done some googling there are instances of others getting the invitation but nothing really to describe the service or if there is any cost attached.
I do appreciate and understand the concern though, but it is definitely from Orange.
Can you please provide a bit more information as to your current price plan and loyalty discounts and what your new contract is, If it's 4G you're on now then you;d be signed up to an EE4G tariff.0 -
I worked for Orange for a long time and worked in most departments going. At one point there was specifically a premier department (which I worked in) where everything you said was correct. Specialised Team that you got through to directly. Other benefits too.
I had thought they had stopped Premier now but maybe not! It was free when I worked there although you could also pay for it too.0 -

And yes, this is correct. If you are on 4G already, then you can only be on EE and Orange Premier would not be available.0 -
Some of the forums where this is mentioned say that it has been discontinued??
