Good morning everyone
-hugs- to who needs one! I've been on campus this morning for a piano lesson at 9am (why he puts it at that time, I'll never know!), have had some homemade soup for lunch just now and am about to sit down and do lots of revision as i have my next exam tomorrow morning at uni.
Am going to put some washing in later because its lovely weather here so i can hang it out to dry - this is my last load, so all is well! Still need to hoover my room as i didn't get round to that yesterday, so thats on my list as well. Going to make a vegetable curry for tea tonight as well; going to make enough to freeze a portion tooI'll have that with some brown rice which will be nice!
Hope everyone is having a good day.

Afternoon all
Had a great weekend away, stuck to our budget well and came home with £35:j :j . Got all the washing sorted last night, just trying to get it all dry now.....damp and grey here today - hoping it might brighten up later.
DD1 had to be at the docks this morning by 6.45am for a day trip to France with the school, she'll be shattered by the time she gets home, both DD's have swam, skated, heelied, run, danced and table tennised themselves out over the weekend and the thought of getting up this morning wasn't good.
I've been very lazy and done the basics and parked my backside on the sofa with the laptop for the rest of the morning - feeling a little delicate as I'm on a double dose of my fertility treatment so the hormones are doing their stuff big time.
Think I might need to have a go at these jam crumblies everyone's talking about.
Hope you all have a great afternoon."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Back again.
Well, have done quite a few things off the list I posted this morning. PTA stuff - done, podiatrist - done, supermarket - done, shopping put away - done, washing - being done now.
I even managed to write one of the letters I was intending to do tonight. The weird thing is, it was a letter to my cousin whom I had lost contact with due to lost mobiles and such. So, I posted the letter while I was at the supermarket. When I got home, there was a letter from her!!! Spooky or what? It has really lifted my mood - still furious with XDH though.
While I was at the supermarket I met an elderly couple who used to attend the same church as me. It was lovely to see them again - although both of them are looking very frail now. They asked my how my DS and DD were doing. They couldn't believe that the cute little 3yo with blonde curls (DD)will now be 11 on Monday or that the shy 6yo (DS) is now a strapping 5'11" 14yo.
The sun has come out now so I will hang my washing out and try and clear some paperwork away before I have to go and get DS for his orthodontist's appointment.
tink so sorry to hear of your marital problems. You have been given some good advice on here today. I hope you manage to work out what you want. ((hugs))
kyle forgot to mention you yesterday but you were in my thoughts. Hope you feel much better today. ((hugs))
Crazychik hope you get to London. I had been intending to take DS and DD to visit my family in Scotland. Just as well I didn't mention it to them as they would also be furious with XDH for missing it.
lynz I can't remember the last time I had a quiet day at work. Even when the post is light, I never, ever get up to date. We are just so busy. My boss doesn't seem to mind but it bugs me. I know what you mean about getting more productive stuff done (especially when its a sunny day and you can imagine getting up to date with the washing or gardening).
Off to hang that washing out now. ((((hugs)))) to those whom I haven't mentioned. I have read all your posts. x"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

For those of you who need a smile -
"A blind man wanders into a lesbian biker bar by mistake. He finds his
way to a bar stool and orders a drink. After sitting there for a
while, he yells to the bartender, "Hey, you wanna hear a blonde joke?"
The bar immediately falls absolutely quiet.
In a very deep, husky voice, the woman next to him says, "Before you
tell that joke, sir, I think it is only fair - given that you are
blind - that you should know five things:
1. The bartender is a blonde girl with a baseball bat.
2. The bouncer is a blonde girl.
3. I'm a 6 foot tall, 175 lb. blonde woman with a black belt in karate.
4. The woman sitting next to me is blonde and a professional weightlifter.
5. The lady to your right is blonde and a professional wrestler.
Now, think about it seriously, mister. Do you still wanna tell that joke?
"The blind man thinks for a second, shakes his head, and mutters,
"Nah... not if I'm gonna have to explain it five times".
(sorry to all you natual blondes out there)

Or this one:-
I'D LOVE TO BE EIGHT AGAIN
A man asked his wife what she'd like for her birthday. "I'd love to be eight again" she replied.
On the morning of her birthday he rose early, made her a nice big bowl of Coco Pops and then took her off to the local theme park.
What a Day!
He put her on every ride in the park:
* The Death Slide
* The Wall of Fear
* The Screaming Monster Roller Coaster
Five hours later she staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down. Right away they journeyed to a McDonalds where her loving husband ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a refreshing chocolate milk shake.
Then it was off to the movies: the latest Star Wars epic, a hot dog, popcorn, all the Coke she could drink, her favorite lolly and M&Ms .
What a fabulous adventure!
Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed onto the bed exhausted.
He leaned over his precious wife with a big smile and lovingly asked "Well darling, what was it like being eight again?"
Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed "I meant my dress size, you damn idiot!"
The moral of this story:
Even when a man is listening, he's still going to get it wrong.

Hi everyone.
The weather cannot decide what to do here so I've put my washing out anyway.
This morning I helped at the church drop-in and I'm about to give the house a quick dust, hoover and mop before I walk up to get the girls from school.
Tea tonight is chicken fajitas using some of last night's chicken and the rest of the chicken/stock will be frozen and eventually made into pies (1 chicken = 4 meals).
I'm in work tomorrow and then we'll go to my parent's for tea and rush home with half of Liverpool to watch the cup final.
Have a good day and hugs to those who need them.
COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!!!!!!!! :j0
