Good morning everyone,
Been busy here, but dont seem to have done much!!! Never mind, house is still tidy after my rush around on Sunday. Mind you, i have loads of ebay/car boot/ charity shop stuff all over the place at the moment, and really hope i find some time soon to sort it all out.
This morning i have 2 LOs here, although the older one is at nursery for a couple of hours. Will be interesting to see how baby LO gets on with just the 2 of us. He cries when i leave his sight at the moment which can be a bit draining, but nice also, cos it means he likes me (i guess).
Planning on walking to and from school today, so again, will be interesting to see how LO enjoys that, as he will be in the buggy - normally we put him in the buggy to sleep, so dont know if he will look around or have a nap!!
OK, need to get on before they all get here,
Have a lovely day everyone,
PP - glad the essay is finished, hope you feel better soon xx

Good luck at the Dentists
catznine - so pleased to hear your trip was a pleasure without heatI'm glad they had wheelchairs for you, I know how weary you can get.
catowen - snap! on the charity bags around the place  Like you, I need to find the right pocket of time to get them delivered. Enjoy your walk.
MrsF - have you considered putting a note through his door asking for a bit of consideration? If it's afffecting you, chances are it's affecting the other neighbours now, maybe one of them won't mind speaking to them face to face?
yellowmonkey - I do chuckle when you refer to your 14tog - how long to you [STRIKE]swelter[/STRIKE] sleep under that before you change to a ligherweight?
N9eav - have fun fishing, wishing you a great catch
Amie - your flapjacks should be absolutely fine
Today I'll be clearing and cleaning parts of d11yo's room. His dad is coming round tomorrow afternoon to help in putting together the bedroom furniture. This will undoubtedly be a stressful exercise because his DIY is as limited as his common sense - the sort who puts coals on upside down  - but he's intelligent in other ways and willing so I can't knock it.
Weather isn't looking too positive so I don't mind a day in getting things sorted - although I had hoped to be having my hair done this week, doesn't look likely with all the other commitments on my time. Never mind, I'll have to rethink next week instead. C'est la vie!

Nice bright day here today, but have to wait in for a delivery, so if it arrives early enough, plan to go and plant some lettuces in the allotment.
Have some ironing to do (shirts)I had a leaflet pushed through the door for an ironing service which costs £10 per bag and can include 10 shirts - if I wasn't now a MS miser, I might think about it
I' ve got some mince out for tea, but have to decide whether to make shepherds pie, chilli or spag bol - I think spag bol might win
Hope everyone has a good day xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

Morning Everyone
Not feeling quite so bad today. Feeling a bit more positive about bf seeing as he said he should've asked me to stay with him yesterday evening and could I go back round to keep him company. I think he just needs time to be more forthcoming. He's been through so much I don't want to pressure him.
Did anyone see the programme on the Abandoned Soldier last night on BBC2?? Shocking. If anyone wants to sign the petition to support our troops who don't get the recognition the deserve, pm me and I'll send you the link.
All food is HM again today. Started exercising last night. Did around 600 sit ups - with a cradle - and 50 press ups. Figured I should really do something with Race for Life only 3 weeks away!!!:rotfl: Up to £70 in sponsorship, but hoping for more.
Ordered £10.35 from Opinion Bar yesterday, so with Ciao, that's over £22 coming my way pretty soon:T Only need another 75p on archerfish to claim the cash there too. So online clicking things are going well
Have a big pile of recycling to do at home, but need to sort it as my friend wants some stuff for her little one's nursery for their model building.
Was very proud as I managed not to spend anything yesterday and about to check around for quotes to renew my car insurance - due the end of the week and it's currently at just under £400:eek:
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

Hi.
Well we have sunshine at the moment. Don't know how long for though lol.
Schooling today as usual. A couple of the children still under the weather, so probably shall read again. My 12yr old wants to pop into the nearest town and buy some fairy wings and a tiara, as she's going to a birthday skating party and they're going as fairies !!!!!????? My 19yr old will take her in and my 21yr old son has kindly offered to drive them in as it's his day off.
Have laundry, as usual, to get through. Still have that basket of ironing waiting for me sigh) Want to make some no cook chocolate bars, as I have some broken biscuits I'd like to use up.
Tonight I have a night in, apart from collecting my 9yr old from her church club.
I have a daughter who lives in America. She is coming over here in two weeks time with her two daughters. One is nearly 3 and the other 5mths. She is staying a month, then I shall be going back with her for two weeks, which I'm looking forward to, as I want to spend some quality time with her. She's been in the US for 5yrs now, and although has been over two time a year for a couple of weeks at a time, it's not long and goes quickly. So I feel it's right to give her a bit of "mum's" time. Although I'm going to miss the rest of the crew like crazy. It will be good for me to have a solid block of time with my older grandaughter as well, because she doesn't really know me. So a long spate of time with her, and especially a time in her house with her, will seal a relationship :-)
Everyone have a blessed and prosperous day.
Hugs to all.0 -
Morning everyone,
PenPin hope you feel better soon.
catznine my XDH went to Savannah on business a couple of years ago and he said it was beautiful. Will you need a plane all to yourself with all those bargains you're snapping up?
Snowy I suspect the same "untidy fairies" that mess up your kitchen are visiting me too. Doesn't matter how much I tidy up, I seem to turn round and the mess is following me.
mrsF I'm woken at 6.15 every morning by a young lad going to work on his scooter. He drives as though he has the hordes of h*ll following him. What a racket. I second Queenie, put a note through his door. Hopefully he will be a bit more considerate.
newster you must be so excited at meeting your baby gd. How lovely for you and your family.
Very busy day today even though I am not at w*rk today. List is: -
Do school run
Do PTA books and 100 club
Go to podiatry appointment
Go to supermarket
Put shopping away and get some housework done
Pick DS up from school after lunch for orthodontist appointment.
Take DS home and phone for afternoon doc appointment for DD as her ear isn't any better
Pick DD up from school and (hopefully) take her to see doc.
Come home, cook dinner, finish tidying up
Once DS and DD have gone to XDH's get the letters and e-mails written that I didn't manage today. phew!
Not happy with XDH at the moment. He has put me in an impossible situation and it means that out of the long bank holiday weekend, I will only have DS and DD on Monday. I could weep as I was really looking forward to us have some quality time doing lots of things. Feeling really down about it but can't let DS and DD see this as I don't want to upset them.
Sorry, didn't mean to prattle on so. Must go and have a shower now before my busy day starts in earnest.
Hope you have a good one. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Goodmorning :hello:
I didnt get chance to post yesterday but did have a read through at midnight last nighthow is everybody today ? hope you and your families are all well. ((((HUGS)))) to those who want or need them.
DD is in the shower, spent last night sorting out costumes for dancing competitions the week after next. I am never this organised - only need to spray paint her tap shoes gold and we are ready. I am normally sewing on sequins like a mad woman at this point.
I dont think I could do 10 sit ups let alone 600 scuzzwell done. Im going into panic as I have a 10k run in September - I havent even started getting sponsorship yet. Glad you are feeling a bit better about your BF today.
We are having chilli con carni made with quorn for dinner tonight. Im really getting mad with myself over budgetting and planning. I am supposed to be doing a weekly shop and just top ups of fruit and milk in between but I am running out of essentials. I had budgetted for £150 for the month for my DD, DDog and myself but it is going to be somewhere closer to £200 this month. Anyway it is better than last year - over £350 in a month plus take aways
. Went to the smoking cessation clinic last night - it was a bit busy because there are a lot of people packing in now ready for the smoking in public places ban in June. Im on my 16th day smoke free - I have a little program on my computer which reminds me how I am doing. It currently states I have NOT smoked 306 cigarettes and have saved over £75
Hope you are feeling a bit better now PennyPincher
have a great day everybody - will catch up later :hello::cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0 -
Hi
We have sunshine and singing birds - makes such a difference when you draw back the curtains and see a bit of blue in the sky!!:D
We also have our new family member - we have named him Benson:cool: . I think he's a cross between a boxer and an english bull terrier. He has kennel cough and has been on antibiotics at the dogs home, but I'm going to ring them back up today. They told me that he has finished his course, but he's still coughing and had diahorea last night on the carpet:eek: I scrubbed and scrubbed with disinfectant and then hoovered with neutradol - smell has gone but there is still a stain:eek: - carpets brown as well though:rotfl:
Benson is completely balmy - he has claimed the garden broom on his own and plays endlessly with it. I was watching him for nearly half an hour yesterday trying to get the broom out of the door again after he'd dragged it in to his basket:rotfl:
OS wise, I have hoovered and washed up and kids are fed. I need to do the shopping today (Aldi) but am going to do a list first. I'm fairly on top of the washing just need to put away a couple of folded piles:T
I was thinking about investing in some gardening equipment - may just shears and a strimmer so that I can tackle the 'jungle':o !!
...and I also want to sort out the paperwork and chase Halifax to drop my mortgage rate down to what they said they would.
Hope every1 has a gr8 day and big hugs to those who need/want one!!
