probably not0 -
Thanks. Yes it does. Existing tv in room (roof aerial cable only at present) has free view with this aerial plugged into it. Assume this box wouldn't work otherwise? I said it was fm dipole as that is what the connector looks like on the link that was posted. Maybe it's a tv aerial
With what the link describes as fm dipole?
Existing sky box doesn't have external aerial attached. Would it matter if I ran aerial to second sky box instead of 1st? Or run one to each?
Will try get a pic
Thanks for all you help guys0 -
Don't run one to both if you are distributing the signals, you don't want the same signal twice.
It doesn't matter which box gets the main aerial feed as long as the same one is used for the feed out on RF20 -
Thanks problem is some is existing cabling and some is new. Basically what I have now is (on the diagram) from the satellite down. Then from aerial to free view box and tv. As I have two sky boxes now (multiroom) there is basically two circuits and I'm not sure i can run all the other tv's off the one box. As the aerial has two cable inputs I was hoping I could run two "circuits" as it were. The new stuff is mainly in a new loft extension and the scaffold could go at any time which will make life harder and also flooring is due to go down soon which will make running the cables harder. Thanks for all the help
If anyone could post a new diagram that would be mega!!!!!0 -

There's nothing stopping you running two separate systems but try to keep them isolated.
Two outputs from the aerial? Have you got a photo of that?
How are you splitting the cable from the TVs in the top right of your diagram?
The aerial looks fine if a bit dated
Sorry can't manage a diagram on an iPad0 -
Hi my husband once fitted aerials etc and said if you ever buy new cable ask for digital its about 50p per metre its the best .
hope this helps0 -
Looks like I can manage a quick and dirty diagram on an iPad

You want to do something like this, without taking measurements etc. it's difficult to advise.

aerial has two outputs.you can see the two cables on pic....top right tv is existing and it has a freeview box. Added rf2 cable to it so that sky could go through it also. new tv directly below was going to have same set up (aerial from roof, rf 2 cable (split from new sky box) and freeview box.
From what im gathering i can do away with aerials to each box now and just run the aerial cable to the sky 2 box???
