So far so good, spent 0p yesterday and so far nothing today :j

Have been paid today and normally would be out there buying lunch, clothes, whatever I fancied really and today I simply haven't. I seemed to have found some self restraint.

Listed entire cupboard contents last night, devised menu plan using as much of stuff in cupboard/fridge/freezer as possible and came up with a very concise shopping list. Going to Aldi's when I finish work and Morrisons for bits Aldi's don't have. Would love to get shopping in for about £30 as we ended up spending £76 since last Saturday on shopping, so £30 brings me back under budget.

Have cheap night in with friends planned, have a bottle of pink fizz in fridge and some Vanilla Vodka in cupboard so those will be utilised and get some snacks from Aldis. Far cheaper than the planned night out at the Pub.

Tomorrow I'm seeing Mum arranged a cheap day out and homemade tea :D

Cannot wait to get Dh's payslip so I can work out what I can allocate this month. Used the MBNA 0% cheque and paid off NExt, Littlewoods, A&L Overdraft and Natwest O/D, as well as one of N/W credit cards. Applied for 0% capital one card and if that all goes ok I will swap the other N/W balance onto that. Would appear I previously bought things on my Barclaycard transfer card *slap hands* so it's not quite interest free so I will use any leftover from MBNA to pay some of that card off.

All in all a very good week so far, will update my spends this week on Sunday night but the world is looking rosy :rotfl:

    Hi BA!

Just had a read of your diary your doing really well. I found it amazing how much small changes made to me when I started this. I'm a firm believer of keeping a diary (Feel free to ready mine) and love totalling up how much I've saved myself each month and then annually. I think I'm up to about £760 at the moment!!

But keep it up and I'm sure the that £2 will work their way towards you
    Current debt - £16,300 :(
    Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek:
:ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A

Hi BA thanks for the glass of pink fizz, is in the fridge chilling til this eve when i shall take it out, drink it and think of my virtual friends!! oh dear i sound to sad!!!
One thing i've noticed since rejoining the road to righteousness is that money is definately attracted to positive thoughts. All the people here are seeing the fruits of their labours by working so hard and are being rewarded every now and then by the odd unexpected treat. ie BA's cheque from the mortgage company, my letter for a £160 refund etc etc. this is such a good place to get the support, WE ARE £2 COIN MAGNETS!!!!!

Bu**er, shopping came to £64.00 including a trip to Morrisons for other bits:confused: stuck to my list very well (although did buy another bottle of pink fizz - just in case - and some snacks), but I suppose that is only just over my weekly budget - and it was toilet roll, dog/cat food, dishwasher tabs week too - bummer!

Also, returned home to a letter from Cobbets who have kindly aknowledged my Claim - I didn't want them to!! I wanted them to ignore it and just pay up  Now wondering whether I should ring the people at Natwest and say I will settle for charges + court fee and forgoe the interest - or is that just me being a coward?

    Booooooooooooo:(

P - Glad you enjoyed the pink fizz, I had quite a bit too much but I still managed to get up for a run today so head cleared up sharpish!

Today's been productive, put all my bills into a lovely clear folder that have been paid this month and how my £500 debt repayment has been distributed, had yet another look at snowball and updated it. Have now got the exact amount of money left in my current account that I'm allowed this month and have budgeted for : hairdressers, essential waxing :p , dinner money, dog vaccination, food, car tax stamps, petrol, window cleaner, train fare and we have £350 left over as "spending money". However I intend to spend very, very, very little of this and then put it towards the Barclaycard debt - see plan sorted :-)

Despite being "Miss Frugal" as my mum put it, we've had a lovely day out and took kids out. Me and DS went on a minature railway that unfortunately derailed :rotfl: but for 50p each I didn't feel a claim for compensation would be successful. So my total spends was £1.00 today and lots of homemade cooking for tea and pudding.

Was bit p****d off this morning as Capital One refused my card application for 0% but I've reorganised the cards tonight so never mind, and hey what did I expect £20k over 4 cards, who in their right mind would give me another

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend x:beer:
