You sound as if you've been very virtuous and busy. I, on the other hand, have done a lot of gardening very heavily interspersed by breaks for lunch, coffees, ice cream, kindle..........but:
    - majority of pea plants now in; 5 rows and a tub full of them. Trouble is I've got some left; enough to give a friend (already gave some away) then find space for another row.
    - runner and climbing beans soaked last night are now sown. If you want an MSE/garden tip, my way of bulk sowing beans and peas/sweet peas is I line an old freezer drawer with bubble wrap, fill with compost then grow - which is fast as the wrap keeps the temperature up. Then when you need to plant them out, you just lift out the wrap and lay it on the ground so each plant falls away from its neighbour and there's none of that prising them out of seed trays or little pots, they are easy to pick up and plant out.
    - french beans pre-soaked and sown in ground
    - loads of ivy pulled up
    - millions of weeds pulled up and pathways sprayed with glyphosate
    - greenhouse and pots all watered

Loads more too boring to mention. But excitement :j two robins are nesting in one of the boxes. So I've been putting out extra mealworms (yuk) for them.

Made huge mess in the kitchen for which I blame Mr T who reduced some okra which made me plan to cook something Indian. I bought a load of spices from India 2 yrs ago (yes, I know they are old) and although I have used a lot, the labels have mainly fallen off and I'm a bit hazy about what all of them are. Anyway, OH and I succeeded in producing turkey with spinach (picked fresh from garden) in coconut milk, okra in marsala sauce and idli (rice and lentil dumplings which take about 2 days of soaking/fermenting). All a bit of a marathon but it tasted nice, and I have cleaned up the kitchen.

All in all a marathon effort in garden flying, and OH had to go one better and do ironing while we were watching TV!
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Busy day tomorrow, Big Black Cloud Appt for me, stabby appt for DS for pre school jabs, and HV I think:eek: plus phone calls to make and put my extra prescription in. DD3 bed needs stripping too, so glad it looks like good weather again tomorrow, but Wednesday humidity is going to be too high to be worth pegging out

And at some point I need to get my behind into gear and finish the gloss work in DR (I have lost count of how many weeks that has been lingering) and wallpaper stripping in Study

Right time to settle down for the night after checking in with Fred. TTFN hugs, sticks, spoons in jar on the side, please help yourselves
The cold never bothered me anyway

    Morning all

Sun is is still here. I will need to be disciplined though as I have paperwork which must be done but gardening I want to do too.

Narco thanks for your gardening tip. My pea germination was awful this year, just a few made it so I'll try your way next year.

Right I need to get morning stuff done and get to the paid stuff. See you late morning.

    Morning All

More gardening for me today I think, interspersed with pegging washing out. I may do some housework if the mood takes me, but to be honest I dont think it will, there's plenty of grey days to faff about in the house.

    Have a good one everybody
