Evening all, i'll be jumping in this week as last week just turned out to be a full on week.

School meetings last Monday about the boys, they have settled in great at their new school. DS2 already at the top reading group in his class. Both doing supper well so glad we moved them. :D

OH has had HTT out this week which has been a joke. They took him on Monday discharged his Monday afternoon but didn't bother to tell us. The nurse that was out promised to speak to the doctor in the morning and ring us back (I was there when it was said). Come Tuesday afternoon no phone call and she denies ever saying it, making out that OH has picked her up wrong. So then they took him back on Tuesday morning, took him off a tablet he has had an awful time with since January (bad side effects) and replaced his with nothing until Thursday which we only found out about by chance. Thursday morning they decided (they weren't invited) to turn up at the social services meeting, turns out it's been them that's been referring us for years eventho they only see him once in a blue moon.

So I let rip at the lot, of course case is closed. That wasn't my issue tho as I knew it would be case closed. It seems that if OH seeks help they will always contact social services. I will continue to have daft people in the house asking the most stupid questions. Or he'll not go for help because he doesn't want me upset. I'm so cross at the lot of them.

Saturday was spent cleaning and Sunday we had a party for DS3 (his birthday is actually today, he's a big 4). Today we did our first marathon only 3 1/2 miles and DS3 has slept since we got home. :D

Opppps sorry for a long story:o :rotfl:

Gonna shift now and get boys ready for school tomorrow.

    Hello,

Hot hot hot today, beautiful blue skies and little shade in my garden. Had grannies and grampsies round for BBQ they've all been sent home with foil packages as of course we all brought enough to feed everyone, so had 3 times what we needed.

Kids are bathed and in bed now, stinking of garlic, they polished off a whole pack of garlic toasters between them, I don't think anyone else got a look in!

Thankfully, everyone pitched in so DD was pushed in her chair till she nodded, gramps mended DS bike, MIL washed the BBQ down after and mum helped pack everything away. I've still a few bits to clear in kitchen, but is mostly washed up just to put away, and a few paper plates that need rehoming.

I'm in need of showering, we all had plenty of sunscreen on, and my hair feels gunky with it.

A good time was had by all, the kiddies ought to be exhausted. DS must also be dizzy as he has gone round that garden time and again on various bikes and scooters (we have a path all the way round the lawn he calls his roundabout).

Back to work tomorrow, for a rest ;)

Cuppa tea just now though, I think.

DS3 now up and my bed wet so all in washing machine now and DS3 all ready for bed. ;) Have collected all dry washing and hung out some wet.

Gonna get the boys sorted and away to bed. DD I think is watching a movie tonight as she's no school tomorrow.

Right time to get them to bed.

have ironed almost all the washing I did today.
Been to Mr. M's - got a turkey breast joint almost half price (yellow stickered) - so meat in the freezer WOOT!

There's a post on the glitch board - boxes of 40 batteries (LOGIK) AA and AAA size for under £2.91 at currys. Go through Quidco; reserve to collect from store and put 'em away for when Santa comes! I can't, unfortunately; my local Curry's has sold out - but M'hall (and Heeley, Sheff) have the AA in stock; all my locals have the AAA

    Hope this helps somebody!

    Evening all

List is up. Anyone else feeling really stressed now the weekend is over? We have tried to do far too much the house is in disarray, the ironing is not done and my new chairs don't fit around the table properly and I don't think they are returnable - urrrgh!

I've got to go to the paid stuff in the morning so just going to sort out a sweatshirt from DS3 for tomorrow and finish the washing up and then off to bed.

  • Turned out nice again! After saying I was doing indoor stuff, the weather changed and I've done 3 x WM. Leaving the 3rd lot on the line overnight as it's promising 19 degrees here tomorrow.

Came home from work at 1.30 and BFF came around with her 3 kids so the 7 of us, plus the dog, packed ourselves into her car and went to the beach. Can't believe the kids stripped down to their undercrackers and went swimming - brrrrrr!.

Called in Mr M on the way home and picked up LOADS of whoopsied bread for 9p :T Freezer is now full. We realised we would have been too late home to cook a "proper" dinner, so grabbed 2 family pasta meals whoopsied to £1.05 instead of over £5 each. Bunged them in the oven with garlic bread - all 8 of us fed for under £4 and no pots and pans to wash.

Flying wise, kitchen has been marginally decluttered, pots done, surfaces, hob and cupboard fronts all spotless. We'll not mention the floor :o Kids have supposedly tidied their rooms and all laundry up-to-date.

Will try and do more tomorrow.
