2 more loads of washing on the line and another 2 loads in.. it would appear to be never ending today.. it is being folded as it comes off the line though so that will make the next task of sorting into piles easier!

Poor OH.. thought he was being brought sarnies when I took the girls picnic out.. fool lol. He has just about finished building the kitchen in the playhouse.. it is very cute! Just a couple of doors left to put on :D

I'm off to rummage through fabric, see if I can find something suitable for the playhouse windows.. then getting the sewing machine out... after hanging out the next load of washing.

Just having another tea break. Last wash is on the line - love having a second line.

DH on the second coat, his back is killing him now.

    DS2 revising
    DS1 off to work
DS3 has been scarifying but is bored of it now so I'm going to do a bit - long boring job.

I have managed almost diddly squat - Piggers I let my 13yr old DD3 round the park 5 mins from home as the 11 yr old boy next day wanted to go play football with DS....it took me 45 minutes before I had to go check up on them, under the guise of it being too hot to be out without a drink ;)

I set a timer for 10 mins before I set of, and I managed to strip my bed and DD1 (as EX MIL was in it when she was here in the week) and bungle it in the machine.

so apart from scooping up DD4 into pushchair for a stroll to park to retrieve DS, not much has been accomplished.

While making lunch DS has made a fort in the LR from the cushions on the chairs (I really NEED to hoover under the cushions in there. crumbs galore despite having a "no food on the furniture rule" and get DR back online asap) just waiting for DS to go down for a nap, before trying again to sort it out.

its 4 oc now, so time to skype DD1 at Uni for a quick catch up

    TTFN
The cold never bothered me anyway

DD3 is home.. alive and unmolested so all is well.. she came home when she was text to tell her I was doing dinner.

Last 2 loads of washing in.. :D

Chappy coming to tile the bathroom tomorrow so DD2 will be pleased.. 5 weeks without a shower is a bit extreme.

Oh these 2 babies are filthy!! Dot is exhausted so will no doubt be nodding off in her dinner.

    Today's menu:
    Breakfast: Frog on toast
    Dinner: Cane toad casserole
    Tea: Tadpole kebabs

Guess what- we're been eating frogs today:D - did my annual cull of the membership paperwork - members lapsed more than a year get archived, lapsed more than three years we assume they're not coming back and shred the files. Mr LW tackled the enormous cane toad that is the weeding of the front garden (scaredy-cat me won't go out there:eek:) and I've had the metal shelves out of the big oven and scrubbed them as much as I was able til my hands gave out.

So not too bad, all things considered.:o

WM has been on, with some clothes of Mr LW's, all nicely dry and in the airing cupboard now; bread and cakes (cherry & coconut buns) have also been made, ready for Mr LW's lunch box.

I want a picnic in the back garden now......:rotfl:

    Ok my day so far

[STRIKE]Go for a 30 min run (have a 10k race in 2 weeks and I've lost my running mojo, at this rate I won't be able to walk it if I don't get my a$$ into gear, if someone could give me a kick I'd appreaciate it) [/STRIKE]
went for a run but I've really lost my fitness so quickly, will go for a few more runs and see if it comes back asap
    [STRIKE]Wash the garden pots
    Cut the grass
Go to bee & que for weed remover & look at cushions for the LR
Remove some weeds from the garden[/STRIKE]
    Plant 1st lot of seeds
Bake a carrot cake (need to use up some carrots)
    Clean the sunroom
    [STRIKE]Wash wellies [/STRIKE]

Just checking what time the dump shuts and will drop the four large bags of garden waste off if it's still open. 1 bin liner is full of dandelions (and there is still more to remove :o)

    I brought this http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=110&storeId=10151&partNumber=178414

it has saved me a lot of time, I recommend it to all those plagued by the dreaded dandelions.

Hi all I wish to join in, have never done this before but have 6 days off work after tomorrow and have decided to give it a go whilst I have some spare time and try and get some control on this house!! I have been at work cleaning for 6 1/2 hours today so really didn't feel like doing anymore once I came home but have pushed myself!!

Bank Holiday Monday - Light list
    Level 1
HH tidying or decluttering. Have started putting clothes away and unpack bags from babysitter and eldest coming back from holiday last night.

Hoover and mop the worst bits . Mopped kitchen will hoover front room once children have tidied before bed
    Level 2
    Meal plan for the week..
    I don't do meal plans
Collect the laundry and put a wash on/or strip a bed .Have half a load sat in the machine waiting for todays clothing and then that will be set off.
    Level 3
Give sinks and toilet a scrub - not sure if I will get to this one
    HHI - ironing complete
    Extras
If the sun shines try to do a 15 minute outside job - nothing done outside as yet and don't think I will do today

Empty all your bins - off to do this after posting
I have already done things that I wouldn't usually have done today so really pleased and will hopefully keep up this week and see what difference I have made in this house x

Half of the sitting room carpet has been washed, a stain in the hall has been savaged and one run of stairs is almost done, but the tank ran out and I don't want to fill another one tonight. I've also scrubbed the rug that goes in front of the fire twice and the mat by the French windows. The curtain rail has had a proper scrub dust, the woodwork in that part of the room has been washed down, the radiator has been tackled with a duster on a stick and the French windows were washed inside and out. So, if the carpet is dry enough the furniture can be moved back later and then the other half of the room can be done tomorrow. Then that's one down and six to go, with a bit on the stairs and landings each time.
    Better is good enough.
