Is there anything left to say that can't be dealt with via email or on the phone? I suspect not - I'd cry off if I were you. What can they do - send the press-gang to drag you in for a meeting??:o Best of luck to Tiddles in her new school, btw.:o

Knowing them.. yes lol. I'm just going to ring and say I can't make it and to phone me tomorrow afternoon if they want to discuss anything. I just can't face it today. I am flapping enough about Tiddles at the new school and fretting about picking up at 3 from 2 different places!!

2 loads of washing on the line.. including 1 of my 2 new dresses.. they are so much easier to get on when stepping into things is impossible.

Spending spree planned for Monday when Child Benefit is paid so I can get all the stuff for the baby sorted. The remainder in the bank account is going on new uniform sort Tiddles this evening and I have the ceiling to pay for next week.

On a positive note.. finding a bit of Pollyanna in my month of misery.. my kitchen is looking much tidier, I have caught up on the washing and my shower is now usable .. the grout has had 48 hours to dry so should be fine.

    Afternoon

Been shopping, got petrol (3p cheaper per litre in the next town where I was shopping) and another paint colour to try. DS1 has cut all the front grass for me and brough the dry towels in.

Very windy here now so I'll double peg the cat bedding which has just finished and put the WM through on a cleaning run. Then a phone call to make.

Aw, thanks for all the Birthday wishes for Mr TMD - he says "thank you".

Bathroom squeaky clean, more filing done, made lunch and scoffed it, just about to put a birthday cake in the oven. Poor OH. We never send cards to each other as we believe the money could be better spent elsewhere, however, the mantelpiece looks rather barren with only 1 card (from his Dad and StepMum). It's not like his Mum to forget :-(

That's why I've decided to make him a cake, so at least he has something. I've ordered a book on Self Sufficiency that he's been after for ages and that hasn't turned up either. Poor love - not the best of Birthdays. The day will pick up later when we go out for Dinner and then to the Cinema to watch Star Trek.
Awww, bless.:o I can't get out to buy cards on my own (and it defeats the object if Mr LW is with me, lol) and can never find anything apposite on sites like M00npig, so I often make a card for Mr LW; I have Publisher on the old Windows XP pc, and use that.:o

Enjoy your evening - Mr LW wants to see the new Star Trek film, so we may be going after I've been to the horse-piddle tomorrow.;)

    Good afternoon :D

I have a serious case of CBA this [STRIKE]afternoon[/STRIKE] week!
The man is here to fix the boiler - again! Hopefully he has been reading up on it & has some idea of how to fix it now!! I am so glad I am not paying by the hour! ;)

DH is walking the dog. I need to do a shop at Mr T later (urgh! It always takes ages!). I was going to Mr S, but a £9 off £60 spend voucher arrived this morning so I changed my mind :p (expires 12/5). DH is cooking spag bol. Do I go before dinner or after? I won't finish work until 5.30, so I can't go now :(

I think I will do a HHC in the bathroom before the school run. Anyone care to join me?

  • Van insurance sorted for OH. Couple of bills paid.

Bins/plants/windows being done next and then I'll resume a little more filing before school run. Really need to walk dog, shower and buy shampoo and toothpaste, not necessarily in that order.

Right, will grab bin, take downstairs, cull it into correct recycling piles and clean kitchen window. Might as well wash the plant leaves if I'm lifting it off the kitchen windowsill.

    HHC starting ...... NOW!

Got out of that meeting.. I said I am in the middle of something so can't get there.. I was in the middle of the bedroom.. that counts right?

Bringing the washing in before we go to school as it is looking a bit overcast and it is all just about dry I think.. nothing a 20 minute whizz in the TD won't cure..

OH on food duty tonight I think.. I have opticians with DD2 at 4 so I'm sure he can manage that.. I then need to remember to make hair and nail appointments for her tomorrow.. best find out when her prom actually is :p.. I *think* she said 28th June..

Binned a small box of rubbish from my bedroom and a bag of recycling form the kitchen.

Best get girls rounded up for school runs!

  • In the space of time it took to boil a kettle I have emptied kitchen windowsill, washed the window and sills, fed, watered and wiped the plant and returned it to the window. I'm impressed. Now sat wondering how many jobs I usually put off that can be done in the space of boiling the kettle :D

Bin emptied. Dog walked. OH doing the school run. House smelling gorgeous with baking.

Time to get out of my jammies I reckon :o Will head into town and pick up a few bits. Can't believe how much I have achieved this last couple of days. Just goes to show what a difference having time off work can do.
