    Hi all

Mrs-MP thinking for you and your friends, the C word really is the C word. I have nothing but contempt for it. (sorry if I've offended anyone)
Narco forgot to say thank you for your gardening tip yesterday
HB hugs to you, how kind to pass them on to dogs original owners

Hugs, spoons and sticks to all you need/want them.

Flying limited today my summer evening job restarted a couple of weeks ago (if I'd got the job I went for I wouldn't have needed the second job, but I'm lucky to have it so not complaining)

    Loo S&S
Washing removed from indoor line, folded and put into ironing basket
    Paperwork filed

    Have a great Thursday all

Narco and Helen thanks for the tips - I am wonder if slugs/snails have been my problem. I'll see if I have any seeds left if not I'm moving on to French beans

More likely to be mice if you didn't see any shoots. I don't find the Slimy Ones go for peas much; they've bitten the top off some of my tomatoes and tagetes so far.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

  • What a Day! Shattered.com

8.45 a.m. School run, paid stuff for 4 hours, dog walked, kitchen, lounge and pantry blitzed and then some , DD taken to Brownies, Theatre Club, home, folded and put away 8 x Wm loads. Just got into bed at 10.50 and now sat in bed drinking a chilled Sauv Blanc! Because I'm worth it!:D

Hate the horrible "C" word - affected far too many of friends and family here

LW - I take my hat off to you - despite your own personal, daily battles, you give of yourself so readily to others. Deeds not words .....

Signing off now in readiness for OH's Birthday tomorrow. The plan so far is Breakfast in Bed - Full English, Juice, Pot of Tea and Toast on a tray, an easy day mooching about, Indian Restaurant for Dinner, and then Star Trek at the Cinema (launches tomorrow).

Night all - sleep tight xx
Decluttering junk and debt in 2016

    Next - £1500 1/1/16 DFD about 10 years time. UPDATED Feb 2016 £1371.16; DFD July 2016 :j
THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO DEBT BY THE END OF 2016

When I adopted Dog I offered to stay in touch with her previous owner, who was very elderly and immobilized by ill health. Dog was pretty much her life, and I thought that what she did in giving her up was very selfless. The arrangements have been in place for three years and in the meantime I've been sending photos and updating her with Dog's news. She has always said she would pay all of the cremation costs, so I couldn't not do it, iyswim.

I don't think most charities allow this, but in this particular case although I found her through The Oldies Club, the adoption was arranged by a tiny charity in Manchester and I get on very well with the woman who runs it. When I phoned her to tell her the news on Friday she and I were both in tears. She knew Dog very well, as she had fostered her for a few weeks herself.
    Better is good enough.
