    HELP required please:

Next door (same side as last time) put their fridge freezer on the pavement outside their house on Sunday, I guess it's broken??? Today I've come home from work to find the fridge door open and smashed glass (a shelf) all over the pavement. They came out and started to move the fridge freezer. Great I thought they're getting rid of it - No! It's been moved into their front garden and the glass has been left.

I am going to clear up the glass but I have no newspaper, I have some plastic sacks but I'm worried that the bin men may cut themselves still. Anyone got any alternatives of safely putting the glass in the rubbish?

    TIA

    Well done ValliBoy! :T

So I've got the kiddies away to bed. DD hardly ate any tea, although she did well at lunch so I'm not too worried. And she had all her milk. She has been a little grotty again today. In fits and starts, but in between times being very chirpy.

So my aunt brought my cousins son earlier, you gotta love him, he's a little slip of a thing and boy does he need to learn how to share! He's 3 and got a baby sister of 6 months - he'll have a rude awakening when she starts crawling and pinching his toys. He had quite a strop about having DDs pink scooter earlier when she was on it, despite DS giving him his Thomas one :rotfl:

We had a bit of a toy pick-up and I s&s the kitchen after dinner. Have also done another wash but is on radiators now. Need to set DW going and mop around. And bag up the CS stuff from DD cupboard.

I'm deciding between having a bath or shower tonight. Need hair washing which does suggest shower but I might fancy a soak. Might nip up in the loft first though. I still can't find my wedding DVD but wondering if I've put it in the box with my dress etc... I have said I will make a mini compilation of the little video I have of DH for MIL as she wants to hear his voice again :A

I'll have a bath, I think, and wipe the tiles down after whilst its still steamy...

Glass removed from the pavement and some from the road. I appreciate people have different standards and I know it wasn't their fault the glass smashed but to move the fridge freezer and leave the broken glass on a well used pavement (someone even stepped over whilst I was out there ) is pure laziness  someone could have hurt themselves. Rant over

Valli congrats to DS for passing his test
skint well done on the batch cooking

decogecko, i use same method as pigpen a cereal box wrap it with newspaper bind up with tape and put it in the middle of the binbag OR i write broken glass in big marker pen letters and leave it seperate so they know what it is. theyve always taken it like that with no problem.

everyones been fed just going to have a cuppa do a bit of stitching and tackle the washing up. theres too much to leave till morning it would be depressing thinking about getting up to that.

    have a good night all
