Finally managed to get into Boots and join in the fun of the double up coupons. So a big thanks to all the contributors on this thread.

Quick question to all you avid Bootsers - have I missed the boat on this? :eek: I have 2 sets of the £5 and £3 vouchers from Boots that haven't been used yet as I've not been able to get into town- am I too late to get a good bargain and what would be my best buy to use my vouchers? I don't have any of the till spits you guys have mentioned though. I guess things I would definitely use would be mascara, nail polish, skin wipes but money for makeup treats is tight so I would want to spend as little as possible.

I can't work out how best to go about it - any helpful advice would be very much appreciated!

yes I'm afraid you've missed the boat - and none of the items you'd buy are glitchy ones, so for example,

mascara you'd get £3 off only with your voucher, plus possibly another £2 off if you have a Boots advantage card and get a £2 off mascara coupon from the acm machine. So you'd still have around £6 plus to pay for your mascara.

wipes are skincare so you'd get £5 off them with one of your vouchers. So they would be £2 after using your voucher.

nail polish is make-up so again, it would be £3 off with a voucher. £3 to pay (they are £6 each).

Bit disappointing but I think my best (and cheapest) option would be then to get 2 x nail polish using 2 x £3 vouchers cost would be £6 and then 2 x face wipes using 2 x £5 vouchers cost would be £4 - total spend £10 is that right? No glitches or 3 for 2 offers for me unfortunately then Never mind - there's always next time - bring on the next glitch :rotfl:

Just to clarify - offers change over tonight but both 3for2 and bogohp are carrying over into the next period. Your vouchers are valid until Sunday but no new ones will be given out.

I don't know whether they'll still be glitching, but I wouldn't have thought anything will change so I'd still give it a go!

I think it still works out cheaper for me to use my vouchers with staff discount than with this glitch as we don't have self service tills, but it's a brilliant grabbit!

Well, there was some extreme Bootsing done by me tonight!

Bought 3x wipes - £4 (did this twice)

1x P&P foundation+tinted moisturiser - £6.25

1x extreme length mascara+tinted moisturiser - actually got £1.75 back in cash for this! Was not expecting it. I panicked slightly because I had to keep calling an SA over as the SS till wasn't reading that I'd put the vouchers in the slot. Thought he would have rumbled me with the -£1.75 showing on the till but he didn't.
