Boots No 7 BB Cream Glitch

Was just over in Belfast main branch on my lunch break. Bought a few items at a SS till to get the voucher there and then put through 3 BB creams. BOGOHP and B2GOF both worked and I got the £5 off voucher in and into the coupon slot. The £3 off voucher scanned and reduced the total but got stuck in the slot so SA put in her code to let me go ahead. She then looked at the screen and said I couldn't use both vouchers at same time. I said that they both worked and she insisted I couldn't do it as they said only 1 could be used at a time. I said that was fine, I wasn't interested and asked her nicely to open the machine and return my coupons. I didn't even get a chance to try the SS voucher.
Might have another go at a different set of tills after work but probably not.0 -
Thats a shame Anemone - there are some Boots staff (we used to call them trouts on the old Bootsers threads) who like to stick to the letter of the voucher (it does say you can only use one per transaction, and can't be used in conjunction with any other offer blah blah blah). If they stick to their guns, you just have to do what you did, ask for your vouchers back and try again later
.
Thats why I love self-scan tills at Boots generally - if there are no unhappy beeps, you can scan coupons there to your heart's content.0 -
i have returned the bb cream without a problem, now i need to go to ss to try get mascara and bb cream.
Does anyone knows if Feltham store has ss machines?
thanks0 -

you'll only get £8 off the total after discounts, but yes, you can do either 3 tinted moisturisers or 2 tinted moisturisers and another item of skincare - 342, bogohp and your £8 in vouchers.0 -
Big hi to all, reporting back regarding the No7 Bronze Pearls as promised yesterday (not read back yet so sorry if already posted).
I bought 3xNo7 Bronze Pearls and used the SS till spit and the manned till glossy (deducting an additional £16). I also purchased a 17 Shimmer Brush (to apply the bronzing pearls with lol) which was £3.29. The total to pay at the till at the end was £2.21.
This means, if you buy just 3xNo 7 Bronzing Pearls, you will get £1.08 off the rest of your shopping or possibly as change ;-)
I know this is late in the day and the glitch may be coming to an end, but hope this helps someone still giving it a go.
Massive thanks to the OP and balletshoes, in fact everyone who has contributed to this thread. This glitch is almost as good a the vitamin one last year (but only because I use the vitamins regularly and the No7 items are more of a treat ;-)).Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -
Balletshoes - the SS voucher I got today has a single barcode and says discount is £5 or £3. Does it give the £8 discount when scanned once? If so I could still get the 3 BB creams for £11 ish which the SA wouldn't let me have at lunchtime. Yes?0

Yes it will take both off if the till thinks you have bought both skincare and makeup.Golden_Anemone wrote: »Balletshoes - the SS voucher I got today has a single barcode and says discount is £5 or £3. you need to buy a glitchy item in every transaction to make the most of the skincare 342 deal.
One option is:
No7 Mineral Perfection Powder £13.50
No7 Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser 5.75 (on BOGOHP)
Total £19.25
Minus £16 if SS till spit and both manned till glossies used
£3.25 to pay
I hope I've got this right, please feel free to correct me if notAvatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

thats right- but the OP doesn't have ss tills, or an ss tillspit. She only has a glossy voucher.
