How do you obtain the 3 for 2 offer? Can you only buy 3 BB creams?

right i'm definitely done now (although technically i still have an hour before the shop shuts :rotfl:).

Went into the store after work, and they'd already started taking down all the current special offer stickers, ready for the new ones tomorrow. This completely threw me, plus they'd run out of tinted moisturiser (or had they removed them from the shelves?). I was intending doing 2 shops at manned tills to get 2 glossies, but the shop was really quiet and on my first glitchy shop I really struggled to get the coupons to show they were deposited in the ss till slot (had no problems with the exact same tills on Sunday).

So I did one glitchy shop, got a free day cream moisturiser and 2 pots of pearls (because they'd run out of the mosaic bronzer as well and I really didn't want any more BB cream) plus money off my half price hair mousse = 44p to pay.

So on a glitchy spend of just over £5 overall, I've got 4 BB creams, 4 day creams, 2 tinted moisturisers, 3 bronzers, 2 pots of bronzing pearls, and 3 mascaras. Not bad at all, considering each item is usually around £10 - £12 each .

Oh I have enjoyed this little Bootsing trip down memory lane, I could have done better but I too am rusty with my Boots maths (I completely forgot about the points coupons from the acm machine and mag for instance).

the glitch and 342 offer ends at close of business today. Tomorrow will be a new set of offers.

Will the glitch be over? If you buy just one glitchy item and use both the SSM voucher and Manned till vouchers, could this carry on for a couple more days?

I don't know - that one might work until Sunday as I can't see how they can configure the ss tills not to accept all 3 vouchers, as they all have different barcodes. We'll have to wait and see eh ? I have no glossies left, so it'll be down to you guys who do, to give it a go.

If your item is just classed as make-up, the 342 won't work, its bogohp with one glitchy item which gives the best deal, as you can use the maximum £8 (or £16) in vouchers.

If your item is just classed as skincare, its 342 with 2 glitchy items which works, because the 342 and bogohp kicks in, plus then the maximum £8 (or £16) in vouchers.

The glitchy items (BB creams, tinted moisturisers, bronzing pallettes, and bronzing pearls) are counting as both skincare and make-up, which is where the 342 and bogohp and using the maximum vouchers comes in.

I wanted to say thank you to whoever found the glitch and posted about it.

I wasn't so good at first but eventually I got my totals down. Made sure I didn't get to a minus balance. Towards the end the tills were getting tired (I didn't do many shops). I did notice that 200 points and 150 points worked for the first few transactions but the last one I properly checked, the 150 points didn't add. Do you think there is a limit to how many we can use everyday?

I have one SS voucher and one £5 one (it scanned but till called for SA and SA took it out and gave it to me). Are we assuming we can use those on one item tomorrow?
