Hi everyone,
Hope you all got lots done yesterday. I got everything on the list done bar clearing a cupboard. I don't know how much I'll manage today as I've got a poorly little one to look after. I'm hoping he'll have a nap this afternoon and then I'll get on with some paperwork in the office which needs urgent attention otherwise Mr VAT man will be getting cross with us. I also need to clean the living room floor, but OH has built DS a brio train layout there which is a work of art and I think I may be headed for divorce if I disrupt it, so it may have to wait until tomorrow!
I think I'm going to have a go at clearing out my wardrobe today instead, I will be able to let DS watch TV in there or chat to him while I get on with it. I've been stuffing all the things that I don't want viewers to see into it, and now there's hardly any room for my clothes and I'm in severe danger of getting a head injury each time I open it (perhaps I should just buy a hard hat and save the bother of tidying it :rotfl: !). I'm hoping that I can keep most things there but just organise it a little better and be ble to get to everything I need.
Have a good day everyoneYou only get one go at life, so grab it where it hurts, shake it hard and get everything out of it you can!0 -

Morning folks!!!
We are up. Feeling shattered today and so achey after my hour of ironing last night. (although to be honest - it's still from dancing the other night as well) I even got the sewing kit out and fixed the seam on a baby t-shirt as i am forever putting off silly bits like that and i should just do it when i see it.
hopefully i can sort the rest of the ironing out this week as we have a single spare bed to put in the spare room which is currently out in the garage and getting mucky, and then we can dismantle the kiddies futon bunk bed we have currently which i have said my sister can have (so uncomfy for adults) and that has been on the list for absolutely months- xmas i think. Then we might actually have a spare room that someone can use.
I am going to try and get on this morning while i am in. Need to ring my sisters and work out what the plan is for the hospital visit. One sister will watch Charlie, the other will go with me to visit.
Anyway, need to get baby dressed as i am expecting 2 different parcels which will hopefully arrive this morning before i need to go out. Neither are that urgent that i will wait in all day for them.

Morning, it's lovely and sunny here!
This morning I need to clean our room, which I've started, clean the bathroom, wash all the floors downstairs and then put the last couple of bits in the suitcases and I'm done.
We aren't leaving until 12.45pm this afternoon, but I'm going to do my best and try and stay away from the computer as I know I'll only get side tracked!
Take care everyone and see you all the end of next week....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Well, did a general tidy and s&s. Didn't get any further than that I'm afraid.
Time is running away with me!
Chatted with my sister! So now I can tell you all as well.
We are getting us a new puppy dog!!!
:T :T :T
He is only 12 days old now so still tiny. He's a siberian husky (our favorite breed!) Since we had to put our old husky to sleep this past January we just couldn't stop thinking about getting another one. Our neighbours now have a littler of 8! pups, so last night we decided to just go and pick one.
I'm SOOO excited!!
Off to work now!!
bye!!0 -
Good morning
The forecast said rain but so far we have bright sunshine, but all could change in a matter of minutes... will I be brave and hang the washing out...
Living room looking reasonable today, just needs dusting and hoovering
still a pile of ironing
kitchen floor to do
who ever it was that said to clean the warm oven with vinegar should get a medal !!! Tried it last night, it was brilliant and so easy, no nasty fumes, had to do the racks with Stardrops
pick up DH at noon, afternoon off, DD parents "night" at 4.30pm (what a weird time for parents night)
going out for tea, treating DD as other DD is on school trip so no cooking and no messing up my lovely clean kitchen
Spoke to Becca this morning, I will let her tell you her news herself.. No, she is not pregnant, but it does involve something cute and cuddly..
write letter to Sainsbury to ask for fundraising bag pack for gymnastics club
Better get cracking then.... have a lovely day everyone
After posting I see that Becca already posted before me...0 -
