After popping in last week, I lost all motivation, and completely failed to do anything but the bare minimum in the house - but the allotment is looking good!
I did the kitchen this morning before going to work, except for the floor, which I always do last after all the other jobs. I ran out of time, and was too tired to do it after work.
Off to cook potatoes for dinner, with cold beef and salad. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Mumoftwo ((hugs)) I would be the same, I dread them ever going away, I may think they are little monsters sometimes but cried my eyes out when they started nursery and school. Nursery did mention that I only left DS2 for an hour on his first day and did the same with DS1. I came home and it was too quiet, I sat outside, went to the shop, then gave in and went to collect them 1 1/2 hours early
I am sure she'll love it and it'll fly over.
Have arranged to go see my friend on Wednesday evening, I don't see her often enough at the mo, she is expecting but not long after she had the good news her Dad was diagnosed with cancer and she's going through a pretty rough time but with all the visiting, appointments etc it's been tricky to meet up, can't cope with PS3 sessions with DP and his brother.
Racking my brains trying to think where I might have put the missing paperwork, darn me for tidying up these days, now I can't find anything:rotfl:
EDIT Posted tomorrows list a little early as we're off out kite flying, never done it before with a big kite like the one we've bought, so wish us luck :rotfl:One day I might be more organised...........

Have made a major breakthrough!
DD, almost 28, married with 19 month DD of her own, has asked if she can have the old flying lists when they come down off the fridge. She wants to use them to help her clean her house. This from the girl who is seriously allergic to housework, is blind to dust and disorder and has been laughing at me for following Lil_me's lists. So maybe the time and effort that went in to printing them out beautifully, doing bits in bold, underlining and generally making the lists BEAUTIFUL has had an impact.;)
Just have to make sure I keep up with the lists myself now.0 -
Hello, first post for me since Friday but I did manage to catch up on the thread at work today. I couldn't remember my log in though so couldn't post or thank.
Shirleypark, that's sad news, I hope you find a way of coping with it and stay sane. Have a hug.
Welcome to new people this week, hope you enjoy it!
Hugs and pats on the back to those in need/deserving.
I decided last week to tag my 2 pantries (v small) onto kitchen day as I don't have a dining room. Last night I emptied, cleaned up and reshuffled the pantries. Fridge and freezer are now in new places so I need to work out if I'm capable of switching the doors to open the opposite ways. I've also moved the kittylitter tray which bamboozled a cross legged Bob this morning.
So this evening my list is this
Manic Monday - Kitchen
Level One
Clean floors
Level Two
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Level Three
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week
Declutter mission task
Sort any cupboard, doesn't have to be in the kitchen/dining room, even if it's just for 10 minute. If there's time I'll do a food cupboard.
[STRIKE]BM on[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Washing out[/STRIKE]

Make supper

Just popped in to say finished my list BUT the floor needs doing again as the dogs have been in and out like farts in a colander!!
Maybe next week I will move it from my level one, put surfaces on 1, and tack floor onto Tuesdays when I do all the downstairs vacuuming. Trouble is Tuesday is my BIG day for housework .. never mind
DW stacked and on and dinner cleared away. Just winding down now.
Everyone seems to have been working real hard - and well done grannynise on the conversion! At this rate the air currents from our wings will power a small town!
Have a great evening everyone - and Lil-me - don't let go!!!!0 -
boston_uk, not only do you find excellent smilies (from where?) but you have a very vivd way of explaining ... farts in a colander is a new one for me!:rotfl:0

You've all been busy today. It's all very odd here. So far tonight he's taken the plates off the dining room table when he went to the kitchen, on discovering the dishwasher was still full, emptied it and then put the dirty stuff in there. I started removing things in the bathroom and he turned up with screwdrivers in hand. All without me having to say anything !!
Other than the nice bathroom cabinet which still has some stuff in it, everything else that needs to come down is down. I've taken a good chunk of the sealant off as well.
Bins are out for the bin men tomorrow. Just need to go tackle the kitchen in a little bit.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
