This is the problem, most of the drones at the jobcentre, and the work program, don't know the rules themselves and just assume they can do anything they like.

It is up to you now, you can fold over and attend or you can stand up to the bullies and stand on your rights.

If I were in your place, I wouldn't go, I would then get the "doubt letter" and would write back with link to the rules.

I could not be clearer that your attendance can NOT be mandated.
