Just out of interest, is it better to have a separate charger than charging it via the PC?
Well I don't have a PC and don't want to waste the battery on my Laptop charging anything, so the wall charger is best for me personallyPay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -
I got this one from Amazon for £3.99 with free delivery.

It arrived quickly and works fine.
The reviews suggest it is NOT a Nook one, though0 -
If a charger is good enough for a mobile phone or tablet then it's good enough for a nook, I use the same one for everything and I really doubt B&N would have anything different for a nook most probably generic with nook stamped in it0

The reviews suggest it is NOT a Nook one, though
There is one for £3.95 that does not say it is B&N just suitable for a Nook, actually it is a micro USB as used by Samsung. This is simply a matter of false description saying it is B&N rather than suitable for...
My suggestion (FWIW) is not to get a dedicated plug cable but, if you do not have one already, get one of these USB PLUG ADAPTERS ON AMAZON and just plug a cable into it. Poundland (or 97p land depending on where you live) sell a 4 head cable which has the old Iphone micro usb mini usb and new style nokia on it.

Hi, can someone be so kind and tell me what type of sd card I need to use for this and the max size? Thanks in advance.
I hate twitches, but I LOVE glitches!!!0 -

ANY usb charger should be fine for these. USB is a standard, 5V @ 500ma (for pc ports) or up to 2A (for ipads). The tales of blowing things up are probably just that tales. I have been using USB charges for years for different items, just buy one that takes a USB cable then you can plug in your own cables in to them. The dedicated ones with micro/mini connectors are easier to source though.Registered Linux user #497422 :beer:0
